  These were perhaps the most relaxing and peaceful 2 days of our big Scandinavian trip. After 5 hours drive from Oslo, we reached Liseth conveniently located half-way between Hardangervidda plateau and Eidfjord, 20 min walk from Voringfossen waterfall.   Freindly hotel, very accomodating in all respects. I requested a quiet room on the top floor with a view and got it all. I had to depart at 4:45 am and the staff made up an adequate breakfast for me. Comfortable hotels that are good value for money are rare in Bergen except, I assume during the dead of winter; so I was happy to be at the Park. Breakfast was not gourmet but quite satisfactory. - Hotel Park Bergen's rooms are comfortable, though the bathrooms are small and really only accommodate one person at a time. However, they offer a very nice full Norwegian breakfast for the cost of the room, which isn't always provided at all Norwegian hotels, and coffee, tea and snacks are offered 24/7 in the breakfast room, which is very nice for travelers.
