The room was spotless,the bed so comfortable.Cushions if you want to read in bed or watch TV,a large flat-screen with a teriffic picture.The walk-in shower was great too,along with the air -conditioning.There is a safe for peace of mind. Staff friendly,helpful and relaxed.They let you have a tea/coffee any time you fancy,so you can sit and read a paper with a cuppa.When not busy,they will chat with you if you like. The breakfast has everything one needs,so much so that you may skip lunch. On ch.
todo comentarios » We stayed at the Clemens for three nights in November and enjoyed everything about our stay. Great location - we walked everywhere. When arriving in Amsterdam, we walked from the station to the hotel about 10 minutes but did take a cab to the airport when we left; the hotel made arrangements for us. Also, if you do not purchase tickets for the museums in advance, you can purchase them from the hotel. There is a great Irish Pub - O'Reilly where we had a wonderful dinner and we shopped at th. The staff was extremely welcoming and went out their way to be helpful. It is also a great location, close to the center of the old city. Although the rooms were small, they were very clean and tastefully decorated - very good value. One word of caution - if you have physical disabilities that limit your ability to climb stairs, this is not the place for you since the hotel is accessed by a long steep flight of stairs. Welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. We asked for (and got) a quiet room away from the main road. It was a small room but perfectly designed with modern decor and everything functioning well. There was a good selection for breakfast and It was very clean throughout. The location is perfect for most things central. It's on a tram and bus route. We would definitely return. The stariway that greets you upon entrance is a little intimidating but the friendly/helpful staff and the nicely decorated reception room and breakfast area create an oasis from the very busy city. The room was so small that you had to walk sideways around the bottom of the bed and it felt a bit claustrophobic. The price may have been relative compared to Amsterdam hotel prices, but we found it expensive for what we had, however it did include breakfast. Our bedroom was very small and we couldn't walk around the bottom of the bed. But this would have only been a problem if we had been staying longer than a couple of nights. room could have a been a bit larger. Steep stairs. Travelled to watch our Celtic Team play Ajax and a lot of supporters treated very badly unjustifiably by the dutch police. However could not say a bad word about the normal people of Amsterdam. don't find it!. Although the stairs looked cool, i wished there was an easier way to get our bags up. Very small rooms and very steep stairs - might be challenging for older people and families. Long stairs if anything. The stairs are so steep, they are comical. Good exercise if you can manage them. All the stairs. Too steep stairs. Big luggage on the top floor is a burden; no elevator! Central air conditioning, not possible to turn off, becomes a nuisance after a while, hard to keep the temperature stable and nice. Steep stairs. Room was too small. steps no lift.
