This is my 4th time staying here and I will not hesitate staying here again. It is a new & clean apartment that comes with a washing machine that is very useful when you travel with a baby. Homely atmosphere. Felt more like a home visit than a stay at a hotel. The casual decor, the pool table, the coffee/tea and toast on the patio for breakfast, the clean comfort of the room, all felt more like visiting relatives than staying in a hotel. I loved Somerset Ampang, my apartment was very spacious, modern and clean. The staff are very friendly and courteous and the facilities superb. I used the rooftop pool and gym every day which was great to wake up in the morning or refresh after a hard day's work. The location is also very good in the embassy quarter and near to Ampang Park metro station. KLCC is also walking distance so was perfect for the convention centre. Really nice hotel. The room was big with large windows. The view was okay not bad but okay.
The location is perfect, about 10-15 min walk to the twin tower. There is a subway station just 2 min from the hotel, so you don't need to spend your money for taxis or being stuck in the traffic.

Great breakfast and variety adjusted a little each day.
Large, spacious room, comfortable bed and pillow selection available.

Close to a shopping mall and a few eateries down stairs.
Good value, 10-15min walk to the Twin Petronas Towers and main shopping, 2min walk to train station. A handy supermarket across from the station in the shopping mall was ideal for cheap supplies.
