Hotel is a quiet and peaceful haven in a busy, interesting area, just
minutes away from many things to see and excellent traditional shopping.
Staff are helpful, although it will help if you can speak a little
Japanese. I have stayed in their tatami rooms before and this time
stayed in a single (western style) room which was spacious for a single.
Good to have free wifi, unlike many hotels. Tip - buy the koto cd at the
reception desk as a memento.

Fantastic location a short walk from Nishi-Shinjuku-gochōme station. The room and bathroom was a reasonable size compared with other Tokyo hotels where there is pretty much just enough room for a bed.
We thought the breakfast was quite good. Start your day with a healthy salad, boiled eggs, toast and a main dish that changed daily. Staff were super friendly. They greet you every single time you walk into the hotel. We made good use of the washing machine, dryer and microwave inside the room.

We stayed at the b Ikebukuro twice during our recent holiday in Japan and it was our favourite of all the places we stayed. Great location, just moments away from Ikebukuro station. The entire hotel was very stylish. The room was comfortable, with a small but excellent bathroom. At night there was no noise whatsoever and we slept very well. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of western and Japanese dishes.

the location is good, there is a free shuttle bus with specific timing from the hotel to shinjuku station. If you miss it you still can walk there in 10 mins. The counter staff there is friendly, especially the slightly board shoulder guy, speaks perfect American English and he is very helpful and sincere in answering all our questions. We are very thankful for that.

Super easy access from Nishi-Shinjuku station (important when you have large luggage), very friendly helpful staff and a clean comfortable room. The hotel also stored our luggage for a few hours after we checked out so that we could sightsee before collecting our bags and heading off somewhere else. Easy walk to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building and other sights.

Clean, self contained appartment. Great for longer stays in that you can
prepare your own food or drinks. 10 minute walk to Shinjuku station,
where all the action happens. Alternatively, right above Nishi Shinjuku
Gochome subway station.
