overall one the best hotels I stayed in Japan so far -
After a minor problem we where conducted to a suberb room, extremely well conceived, a room not only big, but with a wonderful view from the living room and the bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished, we had breakfast in the morning sitting in a very nice veranda. An Hakodate is a place to visit. Finally, the hotel is extremely well located, in between the station and the historical district.

Chalet Ivy Hotel is a beautiful building in Kutchan; the room is very new, clean and modern; we can see a peace and beautiful Mt. Yotei from the room; the bed are soft and comfortable, all staffs can speak a good standard English, they are friendly and helpful. I take this opportunity of thanking them, especially is Mr Jung, he provided us many suggestions for the trip planning once we booked the hotel.

Everything is fine. Very convenient as it is pretty close to a subway station and has a convenience store at the ground floor, which is open around the clock. The room is nice and very big compare to other hotels (30 sqr m) with
sofa and work table in the room. There is wifi everywhere in the hotel
and also in room. Convenient store is just downstair. Location is good

Clean nice hotel, good quality. breakfast was very good and it was in town right next to the bus terminal. Parking right next to hotel and it is near some good restaurants within walking distance. better drive if you are visiting as the attractions are quite far apart...best to visit in August but that will be peak season

We had a canal view room (the otaru canal is just across the road). I like the room very much, it's clean and spacious, toilet and bath room are separated. Besides, there is a massage chair in my room! what a wonderful thought, love it!! ^^ -
