Capsule Ryokan Kyoto - Fotos
(tutto in inglese, ovviamente!)
Camere piccole (come da standard giapponesi) ma ordinate, funzionali e pulite.
Ottima posizione a 10 min di c. todo comentarios »
Practically everything. This hotel has the best of a hostel with the
comfort and facilities of a hotel. We stayed in a double with a shower
and toilet (western style toilet that has all the japanese bells and
whistles). The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable with
excellent language skills. They provide an excellent book for guests
with food, travel etc options which was quite brilliant. For the price
etc this is a wonderful hotel. Not exactly close to much but, as with
Japanese citi.
- The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They spoke English very well.
- The capsule itself was larger than I imagined it. I could sit cross-legged and still have space above me.
- The capsule comes with a separate spacious locker to store your thing. I managed to fit my carry-on and backpack with no problem.
- You can borrow alarm clocks, extra pillows, disposable shaving razors and other things at no extra cost.
- Kyoto Station is less than 10 minutes away on foot. From there you can take .
This hotel was excellent. I had one of the en-suite rooms and it was
very well thought out. Although the room was small, I could store my
suitcase under the sleeping platform so it did not feel cramped.
The staff were very welcoming and there was lots of information about the various sights, eating places and transport in Kyoto.
The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from Kyoto Station which
makes it a great base for anyone with a JR Pass. I would really recommend this hotel.
I loved my little capsule. Perfect for getting a good night's sleep after a full day sightseeing. The hotel was very clean and had helpful English speaking front desk staff. Perfect location near the train station and within walking distance of a fantastic sento (public bath house). Close to a place to rent bikes which is by far the best way to get around Kyoto if you're comfortable with city riding.
This is a modern blend of Japanese traditional accommodation and the facilities and standards which foreign travellers require; with impecable facilities, location, attention to detail, and English!
Whilst it is not a 5 star Hilton, it is first among equals for foreign friendly Japanese style accommodation. So I recommend you stay here whilst in Kyoto for the best experience possible.
Super clean and everything feels new, very friendly staff, good location
near many restaurants and close enough to walk to Kyoto jr station.
Typically small Japanese rooms but very well designed to maximise space.
You can borrow all different appliances as required, and you get a
folder which describes the area for eating, sites, and also day trips
from Kyoto.
Very unique hotel rooms. Great design having luggage storage underneath the tatami mats/bed. Fantastic shower with multiple shower heads/massage jets and LED lights. Good location, not far from Kyoto Station, with bus stops 1min away. Plenty of food options nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Unbelievable smart design that gives you all you need at an extermely low budget. All of a sudden you see that space is not what you really need when the facilities are desigfned to meet all needs and very comfortably. Extremly friendly staff and well located in the center.
The shower was amazing, and the girl that worked the front desk spoke excellent English, she was very friends and helpful. Very close to two bus stops to go two of the main tourist attractions in the area. The bag storage before/after checking is very helpful also.
Capsule Ryokan is super clean and close enough to the Kyoto station to walk. Our older kids stayed in the capsules our first night, and loved the experience. We stayed in a tatami room which was very clean. The staff let the kids put on kimonos which was great!.
The bathroom was Fine and beds were confortable. The room was not too big but the biggest I have bene in tokyo( actually Here is small size) so it was fine. It is not a higher Star hotel but I have been in others good ines and it was not so nice as this one.
A great introduction to the 'hotel'. Staff have great English
and can give good advice to assist in any sightseeing or trips you want
to do. The communal area is sociable and the kitchen usefull - You do
not get these in normal Japanease Capsule hotels.
Capsule Ryokan had great staff and was an easy walk from Kyoto station and close to bus services.
Excellent free wifi facilities and power adaptor.
Everything you need in accommodation in a very compact layout (we stayed in double room).
Staff was friendly and resourceful, service was great! Loved the information packet they prepared for guests. Though the room is a bit small (which is typical in Japan), it had everything we needed. The location was excellent!.
Very good location (close to Kyoto station, and to major bus lines), very clean, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and some very good restaurants in the neighborhood! For a short stay, it's highly recommended!.
This was excellent! Despite others telling me these hotels were small, i found the capsules incredibly spacious! Located 10 min walk to the Kyoto Train Station and with the 7-11 across the street, you can't go wrong!.
wszystko - I liked everything, thank you for the wonderful stay! awsome conditions and very friendly staff - if I ever come back I will surely try to sleep again in a room in Capsule Ryokan Kyoto. All the best Guys!.
The staff were really friendly and good at english. The shower was cool. Kyoto is a lovely place to visit, especially Arashiyama. It's near the train station, which has a mall with nice restaurants in it.
Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, their English abilities were
outstanding which was a great change to consistent gesturing as usually
necessary in japan, hotel was super clean, nice facilities.
Staff very helpful and spoke good English. Very well thought out. Lots of extra bits and bobs there for you to borrow during your stay....pillows, alarm clocks, iron, umbrellas.
Would stay again.
The staff were really great, so helpful and nice. Their English speaking skills were really impressive too. The toilet and shower were nice and clean, and the room was compact but comfortable.
Excellent helpful staff, excellent travel information, friendly, clean,
great location. Next visit, would prefer a private room as I stayed in a
dorm bed this time with a shared bathroom.
The staff were very friendly and were happy to help travellers with information about Kyoto. Whilst sharing a bathroom, it was no hassle and it was very clean and functioned perfectly.
Great staff very friendly, explain the area and give a map which they go over with you and highlight helpful areas.
Great clean capsules.
Chopsticks gift when you leave!! Lol.
Stayed in tatami capsule. Capsule wasn't too small, lockers were OK. Commune shower and bathroom were clean and modern. Staff spoke well english, was friendly and useful.
The thoughtful, compact design of the room, the extra facilities provided I'm the 'lobby', the knowledge of Kyoto of the staff, the excellent guide book in the room.
Welcoming staff, very helpful, wifi in capsule, comfortable beds,
modern, clean, booking online was easy, nice common area, noise
restrictions after 10pm.
The staff was amazingly welcoming and helpful. The Japanese style rooms are small but functional and it's very well located, close to the train station.
Nice location. Very nice people working there. I came to the hotel very early but was allowed to enter the room anyway. Room is small but efficient.
Staff was amazing. Facility was clean and rooms were cozy and interesting. Everything you could need close by (laundry, convenience store, etc.).
a bit far away JR station but still acceptable to walk around 7 mins. Very modern and clean environment with friendly staff to explain the route.
the location is great
the staff is very helpful
the facilities are the best for a capsule hotel
very clean, no curfew
I definitely go there again.
Good location, great staff, clean hotel and faire price !
Perfect for a quick night, or to stay and travel around Kyoto !
Love this place.
Price/quality relationship.
Location is very convenient, close to the station.
The staff is very nice.
Room has everything you need.
The staff are outstanding. They are very friendly and have very good spoken English.
The room is compact yet still very funtional.
Closed historic places and kyoto station. All staff have a professional job pride. Clean room and change blanket cover everyday.is.
Conveniently located, staff speaks goos Endglish, is helpful (including providing with info-pack on Kyoto and other essentials).
Staff very friendly, excellent English, available leaflets and maps
extremely helpful. Walking distance to Kyoto station.
The helpfulness of the staff, the possibility to borrow stuff for free (lan cable, extra lamp, ...), the high-tech shower.
I liked being welcomed by the friendly staff who helped immensely with where to go to see the sights.
The friendly and helpful staff, and free tea coffee and internet and so close to public transport.
The welcome on arrival was amazing - great maps and advice about how to get to lots of the sites.
Best Place to Stay!!! So friendly and realy nice rooms! If u are in Kyoto, this is a great Place.
very helpful English speaking staff showed us around the facilities, small rooms but very clean.
stayed there a second time to break up my journey, and see sights that i had previously missed.
-Excellent staffs give all information you need and speak English very
well. -Very good Wifi.
Near Kyoto Station, nice room, great wifi signal, very organized, good tours suggestions.
Location, very friendly and helpful staff who had time for their guests, even when busy.
Great location, great staff, lots of usefull information for tourists, amazing shower.
If you are looking for an authentic roykan then this is not for you.
Being in a shared space means that you might end up with someones who snores loudly and wakes you up (happened to me one night). Thankfully, the staff provide you with earplugs should you wish to use them.
Nothing.
Nothing.
I came to Kyoto on the biggest Japanese holiday 'Golden Week'... Every single bed of every single guesthouse/hotel/backpackers was full. In the late evening when I arrived the staff were ran off their feet with new arrivals, yet somehow they managed to process us, show us around, and make us feel special.
Now I feel all other Japanese guesthouses were terrible in comparison...
Not much, it is a very good base for exploring Kyoto and
surrounding areas.
As hard as I try I cannot find anything that I didn't like.
The rooms were really small, but served the purpose that we needed. The storage under the bedding was a life saver!.
The first day was diificuit to find. But later on it was really Fine 5 min grinch Kyoto st.
Foreigners are noisers in capsules than Japanease in
'traditional' capsule hotels.
We were there at high season so room rates were higher than normal, which is understandable.
nic - nothing.
The room was rather cramped. We couldn't wear our shoes or drag our suitcases on the tatami matting that covered most of it. The toilet seat and light in the toilet seemed to have a mind of their own - I think they were trying too hard to work out when we were in there. All the things we wanted to see in Kyoto were a bus ride away.
Small and compact... Yet, everything you need...guess it's a capsule
hotel after all.
The ryokan could provide better tea & coffee making faclities. This isn't a complaint, it is just something that would add value to the experience of staying there.
No complaints this is a backpackers dream for visiting Kyoto. Great expeiance.
Lockers were a bit noisy and maybe too small for big baggage. Only 2 washing machines and 1 dryer for the whole hotel.
The smell in the capsule rooms after a couple of days...especially with
other travellers shoes.
Nothing.
Beds are a bit hard but ok.
Quite difficult to find bus stop nearby.
I was in a capsule, and have to share bathroom a the end of the corridor, not very intimate... But never mind, it's clean and well equipped ! Great stuff again !.
There was a mouldy smell in the luggage storage area under the bed.
The room would be more funtional with the addition of more shelves and hooks to help keep our things off the bed and floor.
At least in our case, it was quite pricey for ryokan.
A bit pricey for a capsule.
lack of a proper onsen room.
a good onsen.
Nothing dislike.
Not really a hostel, but it's ok!.
N/A.
Very small room, but who cares?.
