This was a convenient hotel to stay a day before boarding a cruise ship
in Kobe. It was within walking distance from the train station. Front
desk graciously held our luggage a couple of hours after we checked out
before we could board the ship. -

When booking on the internet often what you see is not what you get. I am delighted to say that the Hotel Okura, Kobe certainly met with our expectations. Large room for being Japan, luxurious, great amenities - you don't
need to bring any supplies, great view from our room on the 24th floor.
The location is good for accessing nearby Harborland for shopping, and
also just a few blocks away from the high-end shops towards Motomachi.
Shuttle bus to/from central station (Sannomiya) was very convenient.
We stayed for a week and got a great price - back home we wouldn't
even get an average business hotel for this price.

Wireless internet worked very well. The room was as big as expected. It was kept clean and tidy during my whole stay. All room functions were in really good condition. -
I have stayed here for both business and pleasure and have never been let down by their excellent service. It is also convenient for the bullet train

Swimming pool was great and kids are allowed to enter, for Japan this is
not always the case.Breakfast choice is really good,staff are really
helpful and friendly,location is peaceful on waterfront yet just a short
stroll from train or subway system also a regular courtesy bus to take
you to train station. -

Love the location easy to find. Its surrounded by all the good food and shopping locations. The best part is the subways and JR lines and buses are so near! And the underground shopping is awesome. -
