Location is great, very near the train station. I stayed in the Japanese-
style room and it was good. The room is spacious for Japanese standards
and the shared toilet was clean. The communal bathroom is clean and of
good space too. Staff was very friendly. They let us keep our bag for 36
hours until we came back from a climb in the mountain and everything was
safe there.

Dinner at hotel must book 1 day before , but if you arrive before 8pm there is a japanese restaurant just 100m away and very good.
Bus from Shinjuku 1700 Yen is most convenience just 2 hours, forget about JP pass.

Staffs are nice and very helpful. The room is spacious and clean, whereas the bathroom is a bit small. Breakfast and dinner are very good.
The location is close to bus station. Moreover, hotel also gives visitors a free pickup service from/to Kawaguchiko train station.

All of it. The facilities (really traditional Japanese), all the small things were think about. The service, they even took care of our almost left-behind passports and left-behind goods. 5 course dinner to the room was an amazing experience. Our bedroom was facing mt. Fuji, even though it wasn't the most expensive option. We went for a Japanese style room, it was comfortable and relatively spacious. Onsen is facing lake Kawaguchi. It's well equipped and spotless. You get to wear Japanese dressing gowns, pyjamas and slippers. We asked for a converter, they didn't have it but they kindly lent us their own iphone5 charger.

Wonderful hotel. Tricky to find and a steep ascent, but we were then rewarded with a superb view over the bay. Staff were attentive and yet unobtrusive. Decor was tasteful and the room spotless. W/c and wet room were separate. Multi-course dinner and breakfast taken in our own cubicle and included in the price. Strongly recommended -

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the welcoming, friendly and very helpful hosts. They are serving delicious western style breakfast and there is a cozy and comfy sofa corner in the public area with Fuji-san view. One can use the onsen (japanese bath) privately as well. the owner was very enthousiastic and helpfull and made us feel at home. When we couldnt find the way he got in his car and showed us the right direction. The rooms are perfect and the view on Fuji was stunning. It was a shame that we didn't book our dinner at the weekend shuffle, it looked and smelled amazing and would definitely recommend to book this!

- everything very clean
- toilet attached to the room, shared bath downstairs but we go for Ousen places around Fuji five lakes, we no need to use the shower in the hostel.
- check in, check out process was smooth
- yukata provided with clean towels and Ousen towels
- very peaceful place to stay with lake view in the morning from the room, Fuji mountain is at the back...
