The hotel is good and service is wonderful! The kaiseki dinner was excellent with a good spread of variety. Breakfast was good too though at 3150 is a little pricey. The onsen is good though the outdoors onsen pool is smaller than shown in the picture. -

Had a great stay here. The place is lovely and has a wonderful traditional feel. The rooms are very large and we had a great view over the garden. We never had an issue with the shared bathrooms - no waiting. They have three private onsens, one of which is outside and again these were well presented and clean (and very welcome after a long day) The hostess was charming and the breakfast Japanese style and plentiful. Nice environment and very convinent to go to shopping area. There are hot spring on 10-11 floor where are very nice for customers to relax themselves everyday. The room is very big and clean.I like all and I will comeback again in this October. -

This is a very homey family-owned and -run guest house (from since the current owner's great-grandfather). My wife and I felt very welcomed during our stay. Among the facilities are the excellent onsens (separate public men/women and another private one). The location is also very good -- only a 10-15 minute walk from Beppu JR Station which is the hub Beppu's public transportation services.

We had an amazing time in this beautifully laid out traditional Kyushu home. The entire second floor was made available to us, and we certainly did not require the use of shower facilities since onsens of a a phenomenal calibre are a few minutes away. The quality of the welcome was second to none, and that included an extremely convenient pick up and drop off from/to the train station and thorough overview of Beppu and its attractions from friendly owner/operator Bibo. Highly recommended.

Good value for money with a few free things thrown in like washing, bicycle etc. You have to look for it on the notice board. I wasn't told and by the time I found out, it was too late for me to utilise. -
Excellent location near JR station and bus station. Supermarket and quite a few restaurants & onsen within walking distance.
