Very nice accommodations: understated classy decor, very clean, very large bathroom, very secure & safe, wonderful selection for a lovely European breakfast, every staff member friendly and helpful, great location (away from the touristy centers but only 10-15 minutes to all of Venice by foot). After reading horror stories of small rooms and inconsistent service in
Venice, we intentionally looked for a room with updates and some space
and Carnival delivered both. Check in was easy and quick! The hotel was
in the quite end of town and away from the crowd. It is also a very
short distance (5min) to the public transportation dock and maybe 15 min
walk to the train station. Rooms very modern and clean. Hot water all
week and lots of water pressure. Breakfast was hot everyday and

- The Location was charming! I loved the quitness of the island.
- The breakfast is quite sober but good enough for us!
- Keep in mind that you will have to travel with a vaperetto (waterbus) from venice to a seperate island! Trip will take 20 minutes and than you will have to walk for 15 minutes (or make an appointment with the hotel for a free shuttle service! The walk is nice so we didn't use this service).
- Don't expect luxury, just a place to sleep!

Everything was great.
Very spacious room and a nice welcome with a bottle of champagne (we were travelling on our honeymoon). We enjoyed the view on a small romantic channel with gondolas passing by (there are some rooms with windows overlooking the Grand Canal).
Excellent location, easy to find and get to (next to a water bus stop),and great for sightseeing and shopping (just a short stroll from San Marco with all designer stores on the way).
