  We got in very late due to airline delay..and they were wonderful in holding our room and getting us into the hotel room. The breakfasts were fantastic. The room price was worth every dollar. They even helped us avoid an 18 Euro parking fee every day by telling us about the very reasonable metered parking lot right across the street. The views wer... lo que la gente dice » e great. The location was perfect. You can walk everywhere from the Savoia. A perfect jumping off place to go to Croatia and Slovenia. We have been to - The location of the hotel on the waterfront and in the center of historical amenities are two reasons to stay here. The city bus services are conveniently located just outside the hotel's doors. The hotel is located in an historical building (we had a balcony facing the water) with rooms that were immaculate and whose staff were very helpful. An added bonus was that our car rental office was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

  The apartments are very centrally located (though suggest you did what we did and have a google map printed in advance with precise location). Alesandra could not have been more welcoming. She was waiting for us on arrival. She helped us with a place to park nearby and also with suggested a nearby restaurant which was great. This is her own business; the pride she takes in running it and her personal touch makes it a lovely pla - Manager Aessandra was warm, friendly and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Willingly assisted us when we needed a doctor and hospital, she volunteered to act as interpreter, we couldn't have worked the Italian medical system without her. Thank you so much Aessandra. Unit was clean, comfortable and well stocked with extras. Close to everything Trieste has to offer.

  very friendly staff; very modern and comfortable; clean; the entering into the hotel without reception by using mail or message instructions was a bit curious at the beginning but turned out very easy and useful afterwards - that just should be pointed out at the hotel description to be prepaired... - Alles!!!   Hotel Victoria turned out to be a true 4-star hotel in a convenient location around the center of Trieste. The staff was most professional and attentive, not to mention fully fluent in English. Most enjoyable with adequate supplemental - We were travelling for our wedding anniversary and on arrival learned we had been upgraded to a suite - fantastic!! The staff were extremely helpful, directing us to parking (with a special hotel rate), recommending and booking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner (which was excellent) and even chilling a bottle of wine we'd brought with us. The room was amazing, clean and luxurious, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly, highly recommended.
