Lo que la gente dice
The staff was very helpful and friendly, gave us some tips on how to get to San Giminiano and where to buy what in Siena.
The location is great, but if you're sensitive to noise and care about the quality of your sleep then make sure you're not getting the street view room. But if you're fine with it - then you'll feel the real ambiance of the place.
The rooms are clean, and there is a nice living room in the common area with a beautiful balcon.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience, I wo. todo comentarios »
If you want to feel the atmosphere of a small, typical medieval city, this hotel gives you everything you need. Located on a narrow street, it is part of the fine city-fabric and is right next to the main square. The staff is great, ready to help, polite and friendly. I even got a 120€ parking ticket and they helped me reduce it to 40€. Hats down to you guys.
We loved the central location and the amazing helpfulness and kindness of the staff - after only one trip to the very unhelpful tourist office - we realised that the best help and recommendations were available at the hotel. We tried olive oil and wine tasting, lovely restaurants both in and out of Siena, opera ..... all on their recommendation.
The hotel had lots of character and the central location, less than 5 minutes from the Campo, was excellent. The room was of a reasonable size and the bathroom was clean and pleasant. The mangers (brother and sister) were very friendly and helpful. We would use it again.
Staff was very friendly, helped with parking our bicycles (in a private garage), proposed two types of rooms and helped with all and every other issue. Location is fantastic, right near the main square. Overall the hotel is very good.
The owners were famtastic! They both spoke English which was very helpful. They will be remodeling soon which is needed. I wish I would have seen it after the remodel. The location is only a block from the Campo.
I like its excellant location just a few steps from Piazza Campo. The hotel is also within easy reach of the historical sights of old Sienna, restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel staff were very helpful as well.
Location was great right beside an alleyway to piazza del campo
Staff were very helpfully and nice!!
Room was spacious.
dint bother with breakfast as we ate out and there was a nice cafe up the alley close by.
The guy at the reception was very friendly, fluent english speaker and helpfull. The location was excellent, it was five minutes max walking distances from everything. The room was clear.
Well situated, 50 meters from the central square of Siena, in a historical building, friendly and helpful staff, good working wi-fi in rooms, good breakfest, very romantic place.
Great staff friendliness and helpfulness; very clean, modern and quiet; superb location, just a few steps off the Piazza del Campo; super value for the money!.
It is a family run business and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location, location, location, a very short walk from the campo.
Owner and staff very helpful and friendly, excellent location and close to Del Campo. Has a lift. (Italian) breakfast good. Would stay again.
Loved the location near the Campo and the large 2nd fl common area where we would gather at night. The staff was wonderful.
Location was second to none. Female staff member on front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly. Great value for money.
Literally around the corner from Il Campo. Super helpful and obliging staff. Great eating and shopping close by.
Helpfulness of staff. Large room. Breakfast in hotel. Lounge area in hotel. Convenient to tourist sites.
In a great spot and very clean. Helpful staff and good value for money. Much more like a 3 star than a 2.
Location is excellent. Staff are helpful and friendly. Cleaner does a good job of cleaning the rooms.
Nice people and nice place to stay. Normal.
Gente agradable y un lindo lugar para quedarse. Normal.
Location, friendliness of the staff at welcome and throughout our stay, breakfast, cleanliness.
Thank you! Clean, comfortable, good staff!
The room has everything you need. Very well located.
Great central location, friendly receptionist (with excellent English).
location, staff, very clean and confortable.
Great location, very clean and friendly.
location,the room and leo-the owner.
staff, location.
The location is very central; one block away from the famous Piazza del Campo as well as University of Siena, and close to Via Banchi di Sopra, the main shopping street of walled Siena. The bus stop at Viale Tozzi with long-distance connections for Tuscan field trips is less than 10 minutes away. The brother and sister running this property are friendly and helpful.
Really nice and helpful owners. Free wi-fi, no time limit. No curfew
anymore. Location is in the city center in a really narrow and cozy side
street. I would stay here again.
Location was great. Friendly staff. Great common area "living room" with a balcony.
Position was amazing.... Two steps from the Piazza!.
Location in the old town.
The hotel itself is quite nice and clean...
Wi-fi is free only for an hour.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Towels that felt as if you were wiping yourself with thick paper tissue - a very small negative.
The beds were uncomfortable.
The room was a bit small and it was a problem with the noise.
Nothing.
Nothing to dislike; would return in a heartbeat!.
It didn't have parking but then neither do any of the hotels in that area.
Steps down to bathroom, noise from other bathrooms. Slamming doors -need padding.
Nothing.
WiFi wasn't working.
WiFi didn't work. The room was a little bit noisy.
Conexión WiFi no anduvo. La habitación era algo ruidosa.
We had "best" room but it was noisy in the morning; the room furniture was bizarre - two single beds, one large double, but no chairs to sit on. No glasses in bathroom, but this is a common Italian quirk.
Breakfast not worth the money - better to eat out.
A little noisy because its so close to the campo and other popular places, so nothing that is the fault of the hotel.
very noisy in our room. We hear everything from the corridor.
No soundproofing. Shower stall doors would not close properly so that water would inevitably leak. Breakfast costs extra and is very modest.
Rooms could use some new decor and furnishing. A bit worn out.
Electricity connectors in the room didn't work properly. Owner tried
to work it out the best he could. Aircondition noisy but effective doing
the really hot august nights.
Small bathroom. Smelled of mold. Weak air conditioner.
The noise at night was AWFUL!!! Double glazing would have helped. And driving to the hotel to unload was a nightmare..... aged us by 10 years!.
Basic room that should be renivated. To many steps.
But it is located so that the taxi can't reach its door and no one
helps with the luggage. In geneneral, Siena has the worse roads I have
met in Europe. With terrible slopes and "traditional"
pavement. Warning for disabled persons: avoid Siena!!!.
