What an amazing hotel! Very friendly owner who was knowledgeable and helpful. Although the area was a little rough around the edges, it was always pretty busy and as 2 girls travelling together, always felt safe. Also, there is a huge door on the street which once you were inside made you feel extra secure, so would recommend highly to any females

of the hotel was perfect. Not for one moment we felt unsafe. It's a
15 minute walk to the ancient centre of Rome and Termini station. Metro
station, right under the hotel. Friendly staff, spacious and very clean
room. Good typical Italian breakfast, deliverd to your room.

We stayed at 305 via delle Fornaci. I think there are a number of different aparments so I can't comment on all. We couldn't believe what a fabulous place it was within walking distance of the Vatican City. We had a car and we were able to park it in a very secure fashion. There was even a washing machine. The grocery store was 2 blocks away.

We stayed at 'Giulio Cesare'. It is in a great location right outside a metro station and only 5 mins walk to Vatican City, there are a good choice of restaurants about and the neighbourhood was safe. The apartment is small but was very clean.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Memory foam mattress bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed we have slept in! The location is perfect, just off the Pantheon and within walking distance of Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain. Despite being in the middle of the old city, the hotel is in a quiet street and you cannot hear any noise from the rooms. There are only 6 rooms (each named after a Roman god). The room itself is not big, but luxurious and spotlessly clean. My boyfriend and I loved staying here. The staff were very cheerful and friendly too.

This was a lovely hotel with a wonderful staff who were extremely helpful! It is a little tricky to find because the driving direction changes mid-street on the street it is located. Also the name changes on the street - so Rome! We were driving a rental car so if you are on foot or going by taxi it is much easier. A very nice hotel in an area that is less touristy in Rome.

Gambero was centrally located in the heart of Rome making it very easy to just walk outside and start the day. We spent long hours just walking around and stumbling upon amazing historical monuments. Great location, everything is close . 25 minutes walking and you are in Vatican. Next to the hotel : Piazza Navona - 1 minute, Pantheon, Trevi , Locanda Navona, Via del Corso , Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Popolo . A lot of caffes around the hotel. Cleaning room every day. Absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Monica showed us the highlights in the area on the map and printed our tickets and boarding passes. She arranged a driver for us for our 6am flight out.
We spent over 3 weeks traveling throughout Italy and this place was by far the best price to value for the level of accommodations. It is within walking distance (5-10 min) to major sites and a convenient bus stop is just around the corner.

This hotel was utterly charming! as was the staff. I had a large comfy bed with lots of pillows, a plasma TV, nice furniture pieces, etc. The bathroom was a DREAM -- must be seen to be believed! I would definitely stay there again. Their restaurant on Pantheon Square was excellent. Best gnocchi and tiramisu of my life. Service outstanding.

Location was fantastic, and loved the personal attention from the family! The family owns a restaurant on the Pantheon Square and any time, day or night, we had a table reserved for us as guests in the hotel with the best view of the Pantheon. Food was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay! Would definitely stay again!
