We received a great welcome from the receptionist and felt valued guests for three days - rare. Room was spacious and nice, breakfast good (most Australians are not used to eating cake for breakfast so this is a bit of a turn-off). The first morning they had run out of bread rolls and when I inquired if there were more, they actually went out and bought some. Now that is service. We welcomed the free taxi bus to and from town and the port, but usually walked as it was not far and the climb was

Warm,friendly front desk staff made our stay very enjoyable. Facilities were great location minutes walk to beach and Main Street shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was relaxing and delicious. The location was in a quiet area yet two blocks from the main street. We were picked-up and taken back to the dock free of charge. -

The hotel provided a shuttle service free of charge. There was a lovely man waiting for us when we got off the hydrofoil, which made the travel a lot less stressful. The island had been closed for any boats because of weather, so the owner contacted us and proposed to change for the next day. However, it was in November - low season. The rooms with sea view are great (because of the sea view). There is also terrace with swings and chairs. Rooms are big, with small kitchen and old styled furniture. Very cosy. J

Excellent location few minutes walk from centre of Stromboli village, large spacious well equipped room with terrace overlooking sea and mountain behind. Staff able to book trek to crater for guests, breakfast served at nearby bar with good choice of items. Main reason for visit was the crater trek, but found that there is so much more to do on the island.
