Very comfortable beds with lights that don't disturb others. Quite cheap, good breakfast for additional price.
It was a half-populated 16 person dorm, but it was comfortable to stay there.
It is on a separate island from the city center, but public transport is working all the night so it's not a problem.

Casa Petrarca was a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Venezia! The location is hard to beat in my opinion, less that 5 minutes to Piazza San Marco, 10 minutes to the Rialto bridge. I like the location - it's less than 10 mins walk from the train station. It's also surrounded by good restaurants (incidentally, a very good one just next to the hotel).
The room was clean and had an attached bathroom. The aircon was working nicely - no weird smells.

The place is easy to find and easy to go to everywhere.
The single room is big enough for one person and is clean. They make it clean everyday.
Even though it is shared bathroom I found it not very busily used so I don't have to wait for long. But you need bring your own shampoo and showering gel.
