My friend and I spent 4 nights at Shelleven Guest House. We found it to be comfortable and well-appointed, with a delicious breakfast menu. The owners, Mary and Phillip, couldn't have been more accommodating ... they even drove us to the train station when we left. The location is excellent, and we enjoyed the walk along the seaside promenade to restaurants for dinner so lovely ... a highlight of our stay in Ireland.

We felt relaxed from the minute we got out of the car. At the B&B we were made very welcome, our room was ready and waiting for us. Food was v good. Surrounding areas and shops were good most of all people were v helpful and friendly, will definitely visit again.

Situated in the pretty village of Moira, the guest house offers the best of both worlds- quick and easy access to Belfast on one side and Northern Ireland's stunning countryside on the other. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the family room we had was immaculate and luxurious. We will definitely be back here again!

Astala Guest House is clearly recently renovated. Everything is new. And everything is spotlessly clean. The view of the waterfront was quite nice (I saw a wonderful sunrise). Breakfast was quite good. The WiFi worked well. The staff was friendly and accommodated our late arrival without fuss (naturally we had the presence of mind to call and inform them we were arriving late). Parked right in front.
