Staff could not do enough for you, and were really lovely. The breakfast was very good The cost of the breakfast, which was extra on top of the room, was taken off my bill without me requesting this, because of the party noise.

There was noise from a party below me but I was told it was a once a year birthday and I genuinely think they hadnt thought it through. I was able to sleep in another room that night, although that room smelt very strongly of cigarettes. My friends TV was from the early days of television! I think they should update this as TV's are very inexpensive these days. She felt in her room that the carpetless boards made the room colder. It certainly seemed less cosy than mine, Bit embarrising for me

A lovely and friendly welcome. Tea and biscuits on arrival, I arrived an hour early and a room was made available immediately. Lovely and clean with good quality sheets and towels and a nice stroll to town. Excellent.

Rose lodge was very comfortable and clean and in a great location. Breakfast is lovely too. Lee, who looked after the guesthouse, was really nice and helpful. Looking forward to staying there the next time in Cork :)

I hate to pick fault with a place where the staff were so nice and the room was lovely but the breakfast wasnt the best.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I arrived slightly early for check-in and was received with apologies because the room wasn't quite ready and offered coffee while I waited. I was quite impressed by this because in my past experience all I received was a rude look and reminder of the check-in time. I was very impressed with everything and would absolutely stay here again!

Great location, walking distance to all the cities attractions etc.. Staff where super helpful and friendly ! Breakfast was good.The entire house was very clean. Parking was good.

Some bedroom en-suites where very small. Stairs and bedroom flooring was a little bit squeaky and noisy.

when I arrived they made me very welcome . all the staff were friendly and the room and shower was spot on .the breakfast was also very good as you can imagine .just a 10 minute walk into town .10 out of 10 .

Very friendly, helpful, clean, and comfortable. Good location near the University and a short walk to the city centre. We were travelling to Kinsale later in the day after checking out and the hotel kept our luggage for us and arranged a taxi. They gave us a cup of tea on our return too, very hospitable to the end.

Wonderful rooms in a small cute place. The staff was wonderful and kind. Good value for the room (though the US conversion rate hurt). Location was an easy and nice 10 minute walk to the city center.

Very friendly staff, ready to help you with every problem you may have. Guest house is located near city center but little bit far from main bus station (25 minutes walk). Room was clean with newly renovated bathroom.

Over the weekend you can hear noise from the local pub.

There is a problem with finding places in Ireland using satnav. There does not seem to be a system of street numbers or post codes. Can be very frustrating.

The owner was really nice and kind. We had a warm welcome. The lodge was clean, the room decorated with taste. Everything was elegant and beautiful. The breakfast was full, we had everything we could want. The location : not in the center of Cork but not so far, 15/20 minutes by foot.

the welcome was amazing, we were made to feel at home, offered bottled water and shown to our room when it was ready. wifi was good. the location is handy for exploring cork city. bed were very comfortable.
