Gini and George were excellent hosts! We stayed on two occassions, at the start and end of our Kerala trip, and found it to be comfortable and perfect for exploring Fort Cochin. Our hosts were extremely helpful with finding our way around the area and advised us on the best ways on travelling onto Munnar and organised taxis to and from the airport. Handy location for shops etc, and not too far to walk to the waterfront via busy trading street lined with interesting small businesses. Easy to get transport to airport. Gave me some interesting material for my next novel after successfully publishing Changing Pillion, an adventure romance, released in2012.

The variety, quality, and presentation of food was superb. The hotel staff on all levels always helpful and friendly. The cafe next door is great for visitors wanting a good coffee and dessert. We stayed in one of the suite rooms which consisted of a nice room with ac, tv with loads of channels and an attached bathroom plus a lounge area kitchen and large terrace shared with one other suite room. I would recommend it for the little extra it costs.

This is superior budget option with internet cafe, food cafe, tour advice, backwater boat tickets, and really smart and interesting staff who will do everything to make an excellent stay in Kochi. Also comfortable rooms with 24 hour hot water.
