The room we had was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. -

We loved its proximity to the main train station (it can be reached in around 10 min walk). However, the area in which it is located is under construction so reaching the hotel carrying luggage was quite a pain (took us 25 min). In our room we found some brochures at the back of which there were some discount coupons for Madame Tussauds and Sealife. We were happy to use them and get 2 tickets for the price of 1. This is a beautiful hotel and we wished we could have stayed a month instead of 3 days. 4 poster bed was just as shown on the website. We weren't aware of the lack of an airconditioner as it wasn't necessary in the spring weather. Location was good once we'd found out where the nearest underground was (as opposed to Central Railway). -
