The hiking around the area are superb. World class. If you hike, this is it! It is in the Mosul River Valley and there is not a bad view from anywhere. The owners are very nice. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had a large bathroom and toiletries provided which we found rare on our travels at similar guest houses. It even had a kitchen with a refrigerator which was convenient. It was outside of the main city, but the walk wasn't too bad to walk into the city. -

Loved the location which was very central, we had booked the ground floor apartment, which offered a well stocked kitchen (utility wise), extremely comfortable bed, small but adequate bathroom with shower and a superb breakfast which set us up for the day!! but above all else a friendly welcome from Bas, who also recommended several walks and good eateries for evening meals.
