Eventhough the exterior of the hotel doesn't look as nice, the rooms are very clean, nicely decorated with all updated amenities. The room is big and bathroom is spacious. The rate for this hotel is also very budget-friendly. Overall, we really enjoy our stay at hotel Italia. We will definately stay here again if we are in the area. -

Hotel is situated in a quite area on the opposite side of the river to the town. A short walk across the bridge and your are in the centre. The rooms were good and we had a ground floor room which opened onto a small area with outside seating which was great as it was hot. No air con but as it was quiet we could leave window open.

The room was spacious with TV and a large en-suite bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean.
The WiFi was good - not super fast but good enough to check emails / browse the web.
Breakfast was good with bread, yoghurt, compote, jams, honey and fresh coffee.
The onsite parking was a bonus and being able to park right outside your room was good.

The hotel is central to everything in Tours. The staff are lovely!! Helpful and friendly. Whilst the hotel had no lift, the gentleman in reception insisted on taking my bag to my room. The room was basic but very, very clean. The room contained a fridge which must be a first in France!! Breakfast was simple but again wonderful friendly service. I liked this hotel very much. A good budget choice. WiFi available.

We had a view on ancient Rue Voltaire from our window; it's not far from St. Gatien Cathedral; they have breakfast in the morning; everything is crispy clean and all the guests were very quiet, so if you're looking for a place to relax this should be your choice
