Lo que la gente dice
the location was great, walking distances of numerous metros, the staff day and night very polite, was worried with my french but they were flexible with me using english.also having a choice of picking which room ,helped. all ok hotel actually, local to pubs shops. etc walking distance to two irsk pubs, one aussie pub and hard rock cafe .lol.
The location of the hotel is great, very convenient in terms of transportation and not very expensive. It is near Indian community I suppose, so you can get some great kebab and other food without going too far. The staff there are very nice and humorous. A+ recommendation.todo comentarios »
Friendly and obliging guy, Cami, at the front desk, very patient with my attempt at French and had a chat about his family in Wales! Clean, decent sized room with a few channels on the tv, quiet room, and cheap and cheerful!- would use again as a budget option.
The staff is really friendly and will do their best to please u. Rooms are clean and free wifi is an excellent bonus. Overall will definitely stay there again should i come back to Paris :).
The location, though quite bit dodgy but just walk quickly. The staff
was great, just ask. No air-con or fan but luckily summer is already
over and it was kind of chilly without them.
Very close to Nord Station, metro and central Paris. Neighbour is quite
safe, nice resturants. The rooms vary, one was a bit tired but fine,
another was newly updated and very nice.
Nice sized room, friendly staff, clean shower room... Very close to tube station (3 mins) so good for city trip. Good value of money for that location.
3 minutes from the metro station. Plenty shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Price-value ratio is totally fair. Helpul and nice staff.
The staffs are the sun of the hotel owner very good service.they are moslim hotel..very close with the Metro line 4...24 hours ervice.
Surprisingly spacious en suite with bath for this budget price. Handy location. Basic but clean and staff were helpful.
It was a cheap and lovely hotel in an very convenient location. It was also very clean.I liked the neighbour around.

great location, clean, value for money, lovely staff, interesting neighbourhood.
Family-run and friendly.
Very clean.
Standard very high for the price.
Close to metro, cafes, good bookshop; warm, clean; unobtrusive staff.
Hotel close to metro station.
Clean and cheap. Friendly personell.
Clean room, easy transfer with the metro to the town center.
Required things were all right. Cleaniness mainted well.
Location, Friendly behavior of staff, value for money.
clean and central and quiet and good staff.
Central location and good value for money.
clean, good stuff.
Location to metro.
Friendly staff.
good place.
The hotel is a good value for the money. The young men that work the night and morning shifts at the desk are friendly and accommodating. On request, they gave me a selection of rooms. The room was simple, providing all the necessities, including toilet/washroom. A traditional French breakfast of baguette, croissant, coffee, and juice is available on request. The hotel is a very short walk to two major metro stations, making any trip into the city a snap.
Location: close to restaurants and supermarkets, 5 minute-walk to the
metro station where 3 lines are running. Staff: friendly hotel staff,
even let us choose between rooms. Even through the one of them was not
yet cleaned, but it finished cleaning soon.
Victory Galou is on a cute characterful street in a very down to earth area, not very near Gare du Nore, but still walkable from there. The boss is friendly. Great value and very central. Free wifi in the main areas.
Good location in term of walking distance to the metro, just less than 5 mins. Wifi was working well in room. The boss was humorous. Room was small and relatively clean.
friendly staff. Location is good, easy to find it, close to the Metro(Less than 5 mins). free wifi in every floor.
Location is close to metro, supermarket and restaurants. Hotel has good wifi. Enough facilities for short stay.
- The staffs are friendly
- Location is near metro and easy to find.
- Reasonable price.
Excellent location and one of the cheaper options in the neighbourhood.
25 min walk from the louvre, close to the nord station.
Good location, clean hotel, worth for the price.
Clean, close to train station.
Cheap, clean,good staffs.
Room with en-suite ok Centrally located in Paris, and very close to
Metro. General area ok.
Staff tried their best to help with making our stay bearable.
the location is good.
The hotel is cheap.
Good spot.
no faults lol maybe teh cleaning cupboard was used too much lol heavy doors making noisey BUT no a complaint etc lol.
down a slightly dodgy looking alleyway, no air con in room, slightly run down with creaky spiral stairs- but wouldn't put me off staying here again.
The mattress bit old. The toilet air ventilation was not working. Watch
out for the stairs if you have huge luggage, but the staff was helpful.
The noise during midnight, especially weekend nights.
Nothing.
No major things for that price.
nothing.
someone less fit would battle with 5 floors of stairs. We found it hard to locate at first.
there was not available hair dryer.
There was no internet on the 4th and 5th floor.
We did not have wi fi in our room during our stay. We had to sit in reception to use it as it was not working properly.
Walls of room VERY thin.
Noise from main road even though in a side street.
Get off at Strasbourg-St-Denis Metro rather than Chateau d'Eau.
There should be one extra electric plug for charging mobiles etc.
Drinking water facility or board for drinking water.
small bathroom.
Nothing worth mentioning.
no small refrigerator in the room.
Noise on street late im night.
No aircondition.
a little noisy if the room is next the street.
The staff does not speak much English, which can be a difficulty for some travelers. There is no elevator, which can make moving baggage up five flights a strenuous process. Thin walls between rooms make it easy to hear what goes on in the room/s next to you.
Location: in an area full of salons and many African American people who
gather around and sending out cards. And a bunch of girls sitting
outside the metro. Facilities: we chose a room on the 5th floor, it is
newly decorated compared to those rooms on the 3rd floor and below. And
the bathroom is bigger. Howerver, the wifi is completely not working in
the room, but you can use it in the corridor. You can hear people in the
room talking when you are in the corridor.
The night porter was a little curt and defensive, the internet is not guaranteed in the rooms, though mine worked.
The outside environment was awful, feeling unsafe along the way to hotel. It's full with African gangster and teenagers selling things. Room was a bit smelly. No elevator is available and the stairs are narrow. Thus it's hard to carry up if you have huge luggage. Not many amenities are provided, only bar soap. Some problem with the pipes made a water leakage to room below ours. Strongly not recommend for solo lady traveller.
no lift, stairs are too small to carry the big luggage. People smoke in the room and the share toilet.
Didn't have hair dryer and bathroom was a bit smelly and stuffy. Hotel is off the main street, sometimes have teenagers gathering outside hotel.
- No.
The hotel does have a problem with the electricity. In some rooms the plugs don't work, in others the lights don't, so check out before you take the room. The rooms are a bit run down and some have a smell of cigarettes (although we asked for a non-smoking room). The breakfast area is just in the lobby and absolutely a no-go, go and have breakfast in a café in the neighbourhood. And the free wifi... just didn't work on the 5th floor :-(.
The guide at the walking tour told that the area where the hotel is situated is not safe.
My friends didn't like the bed matresses, for me it was ok :).
Very basic level of comfort and sound insulation.
Our shower room is not good. Water does not through well...
No elevator. My hotel room on 5th floor. No lobby lounge or chairs.
Breakfast poor and overpriced. No internet/PC available. No hotel
information in room. Phone in room had no operating instructions. Staff
not very co-operative.
Location, location, location. It may be within walking distance to Metro and Rail but for a family, NO NO NO.
Very root staff.
The rooms are small and old.
Staff can't speak English and a bit rude.
It was awfull. The conditions were very bed. The hotel was not the hotel as in pictures they discribe. please do anything that the other people will not take the room of this hotel. All rooms were dirty.
It has a very bad smell, a very bad location.
The rooms were very dirty and the staff very unfriendly.
Not recommend this hotel.
