Lo que la gente dice
It is a friendly family hotel in the heart of Paris located very close to the centre and the Metro station. The staff is really helpful and correct, they all try to do their best for you and your family (call for the transfer, e.g.). The size of the rooms is appropriate for a 2-star family hotel in Paris, they keep totally what had been promised. The rooms were cleaned every day, daily fresh towels, etc. The breakfast could have been fooled with a little bit of ham or cheese but it was right fo. todo comentarios »
The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Christof, the owner is
very nice. The breakfast they offer is great: hot drinks are delicious
and croissants and baguettes very good, too. The hotel is in the center
of Paris: ten blocks away from Ile de la cité, Notre Dame, the Louvre;
very close to Rue St Denis, Rue Montorgueil and Rue St Martin (which
are very lively at night and not dangerous at all), close to museums
and churches, and accessible to any train station or metro station.
Great stay.
We spent a week in Paris just now, and stayed at the family owned Hotel Roubaix. The location is terrific, walking distance to the Pompidou Center, the Louvre, and 2 minutes from the closest metro station. The bed was great. The service and the hotel owners and management are friendly and attentive and make you feel at home. The rooms get cleaned (well) each day, and we will definitely go back to this hotel, if the price remains right.
Location is great - 2 min walk from the metro, close to a large supermarket (monoprix? Not sure if the name but outside the metro stop Ruemer Sebastopol, level 1) & lots of bars and great restaurants.
Hotel - funky and classic. Clean & great staff. Elevator and breakfast is included. The owner & staff member Peter :) recommends some amazing places to see and eat!
Definitely recommended!.
- Staff incredibly welcoming and helpful; patient with English speakers;
they really seemed to care that we had an enjoyable stay; a nice
"family" feel
- great location for tourists; easy access to the Metro
- rooms as advertised -reasonably comfortable and were kept clean; fairly spacious for European standards
- free wifi! (just ask for a daily code at front desk)
- in-room safe.
Very helpful staff, rooms lovely and clean, asked for triple room, expect double bed and one single, but got one double and 2 singles which meant that we didn't need to share, which due to hot weather was great.
Great wall paper, room, halls and breakfast room as per website, perfect for teenagers travelling with parents.
Excellent location - the center of the city, 100 m from metro station, 10 min for a walk from Pompidou center, Notre Dame de Paris, Louvre.
A big supermarket is across, 2 min for a walk to the street with a lot of restaurants. Clean and big room, friendly stuff, comfortable bed. Ideal location for city sightseeing.
A nice and interesting place - a combination of tradition (keys with the hotel's logo, small lift, croissants for breakfast, stars officially listed on the sign) and modern upgrade (comic-book art all over the place, some very bright colours, bathroom fitments). Good but also slightly weird.
Great location, everything is near.
And there is working really great people, who help us a lot. My mom even not speak english, but that guy on reception was so good and nice, that helped even with drawing maps :)
It completly met our expectation.
I like the hotel's location which is near a metro station & an active street. Also. I want also to give a credit to the man who stays at night's shift where he helped us with everything we needed with a great friendly smile.
I liked everything about the hotel, great location and service, very relaxing beds and atmosphere, i will always stay in that hotel and advise everybody to book in it, they will not regret it. Tarek from Beirut.
Good Family-owned hotel. Very kind staff, nice location (quiet side-street, but near to main shopping areas, metro, city centre etc.) Food supermarket and pedestrean area with restaraunt are nearby as well.
friendly helpful staff, very good location - most tourist attractions accessible on foot for people who like walking, safe in the room, comfortable beds, clean room, towels were changed every day.
I liked the charm of the place. The theme is apparently a French cartoon called TinTin.
The location was fabulous-I walked to all the sights but the metro is right there if you prefer it.
Staff were wonderful. Allowed us into room early and to leave luggage all day on our last day as we left on the evening train. Loved the cartoon posters and colourful decoration.
friendly and helpful staff, relaxed homely atmosphere
excellent location for exploring Paris/close to metro station which is handy
exceptionally clean
colourful/ happy colours.
close to the centre of Paris and heaps of cafes and restaurants 10 minutes walk away
metro 3 minutes walk
staff were helpful
clean and comfortable room
really good 2 star hotel.
Staff is extremely attentive, warm and friendly.
Rooms are small, yet clean and functional.
Location is practical for tourist attractions and in safe neighborhood.
This hotel was fantastic, the staff were excellent, the hotel was bright and cheerful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to metro. I would stay here again.
Very very nice hotel-clean,stuff is amazingly friendly. Great location and big supermarket Monoprix just across the road. Perfect money-quality combination.
Everything was ok, big room with nice view, good food and very great location. We loved the old man in the reception :), and all staff was really friendly.
The staff were very kind and helpful. The location was just a few minutes from the Metro. The price was reasonable, it was warm, clean and tidy.
Good location near metro, supermarket and the Marais. Quiet for Paris.
Odd and interesting decor based on graphic novels and pop art.
Location, nice small room with French interior, quiet courtyard, close to the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris with organ every Saturday.
The staff was very nice and helped us out all the time. And spoke English too!
Secure locker without having to pay for the key.
Unique interior design, closeness to the city centre, extremely friendly and courteous lad behind the reception desk.
Most of all the ambience and the breakfast. All other aspects were quite
acceptible, especially for the price.
Fantastic staff! Very clean rooms and exceptional bed! We really enjoied our stay and plan to come back.
good location, 5 mins walk to a lot of good restaurants. Staff was friendly but cant speak much english.
Very bright and colorful. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Good, hot breakfast. Child friendly.
Quirky hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent location in Paris.
Comfortable bed, good shower.
location is perfect. 5 minutes walk from Pampidou Centre. nice small hotel with great staff.
Staff was helpful, very kind. Room was comfortable and very clean. Good wifi in the room.
I loved the kitchen decor . The French dog on the sofa .
And the price was very resonable.
Friendly family atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. And much more.
the staff was very friendly and location is perfect only 15-20 min from louvre.
the staff and the location
the room was clean and i will recomand everyday.
Friendly staff always available to help.
Clean rooms well maintained.
This is a very quaint hotel .The braekfast included was quite good.
The staff were very friendly and made us feel most welcome.
The location is near metro station. Staff is freindly.
Friendly staff very good location and excellent value.
Comfortable bed, really helpful staff on front desk.
Good hotel, rooms with view. Recommend!.
Friendly staff, excellent location.
Competitive price for budget hotel.
Good value for money.
Location, design.
The location.
The staff was very friendly and as we don't speak french well they worked with us. Especially my 10 year old who has been learning french for the past 2 years. The rooms were small but that was expected. Bed was comfy.
Nothing.
The rooms are small and could use some upgrading and renovation, The WiFi could use a little boost.
Breakfast was the exact same everyday - bread, croissant & condiments w tea/coffee - got boring.
The location was fantastic but not in 'the thick of it' (which I loved) - however although heading towards the city walking was awesome bars & restaurants, the other side towards suburbia felt a bit more unsafe, you just have to be observant.
- Breakfast was limited and the same every day (croissant, piece of
baguette, butter/jams, coffee, juice) with the breads already laid
out on your plate
- decor was quirky; not really a negative, but definitely different (it is as advertised/ pictured on this wbsite)
- no in-room hair dryer.
Safe did not work in room, but was offered to put Passports etc in hotel safe, which was nice of them.
Poor breakfast, but if you add some ham and cheese (from supermaket) during your breakfast - everything will be OK. Sometimes iternet is cut off.
We were asked to fill out migration forms upon check-in, which seemed like a throwback from pre-Schengen days.
At the beginning, the man who stays at day's shift didn't give us the safety box's key at our arrival, so we had to stay and then he gave it to us..! Anyway, it isn't that big deal but he should have provided it at our arrival.
Rooms are small (it's Paris, yeah)
Walls are thin :).
breakfast not rich, but enough; only bed cover not clean.
The room was a little bit small, but I expected that of a Paris hotel.
They need to sort out the wifi as coverage is patchy. Having said that, when I couldn't get it to work they let me borrow their computer briefly.
room was too small/
could offer more for breakfast for example buffet style croissants/the taste of France.
Internet is a bit slow, but works and ok.
There was no shampoo in the bathroom, only soap, but it wasn´t a big deal.
Breakfast is only serviceable. You get bread, jam, and a croissant.
Having cereal or yogurt would give some variety. They need to find a
coffee/chocolate machine that keeps the chocolate powder out of the
cafe au lait.
No A/C. The room got terribly hot inside, specially since it was a three person room.
There was nothing I disliked. The owners make a great effort to run a
good accommodation.
Although the walls are thin, the bed was that good that I was not bothered with the noises around.
tiny room and a bit noisy during night. breakfast was very poor.
Breakfast basic & bread/ croissants could have been fresher. Negligible sound proofing between rooms.
i was expecting better breakfast as we only could get 1 croissant, 1 small baguette and butter and jam!! too poor!.
Coffee dispenser at breakfast - never a good thing to wake up to.
I would not stay here if u like a day time nap or any nap . U can quite loudly hear people on the corridors or in there upstairs bedroom talking then in the morning the cleaner knocked 3 time in the space on a hour . They problem need so sort of dont disturb sign .
Would have been useful to have tea making facilities in the room.
A little bit noisy.
nothing.
Bathroom.
Very small room. Also general cleaning was done and towels were changed every day, the flour left dirty. The Wi-Fi requires password.
nothing.
No "Do not disturb" sign in the room.
Poor breakfast.
No aircondition
Small room.
Rooms could have been cleaner.
