  This hotel was once called Etap, then changed to Mercure and is now El Luxor - Eatab owned by the Egyptian group Misr Travel. All the staff are the same and are very helpful. So much safer than using our cards in the streets - The nile view room we had was fantastic. Breakfast is a buffet, and has a very wide selection, which will fill you up for the day! The swimming pool is great! The location for the east bank attactions, and downtown all within walking distance. The bank inside the hotel, gave us the best exchange rate. Very relaxing.
