The hotel is well situated near the Berri/UQAM subway station. My room was indeed spacious and comfortable, but also very quiet, even though it faced the street.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, as it does offer good value at a modest cost. -

We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).

When I first read the on-line guests reviews, I have to admitt that I was a bit worried to reach there. I was instead pleasantly surprised. Very modern lobby, clean and large room, bed very comfortable. We could hear a bit the noise from the Laurier Boulevard but it will stop during the night. I can only highly recommend the Angelica Blue. - First, the owner and staff were so so welcoming and so kind, with many little touches of hospitality, the food was fabulous....so delicious and fresh. The room was so beautiful...we were in the Victorian Room also called the Angel Room. My Mom was so impressed...she said it reminded her of a room in a Parisien hotel....thank you thank you to Lyne....such a wonderful time. WE WILL RETURN!

Felt fortunate to find this hotel. Metro right across the street!! Also
could catch a bus there.....FREE Parking! Was able to keep car in the
parking lot for the day although we had already had checked out....that
was great!! We found the room clean, no bedbugs......staff very helpful
and friendly, dining room was very nice (staff again

Excellent value for money, especially if you're travelling with kids. Located just across the Quebec side of the Quebec bridge. everyone was great, helpfull and ,friendly from the reception staff to the dining room staff, I can;t say enough about the room clean with all the amenities ,that we needed, the bed was comfortable, I was traveling with my sister ,the girls at the front desk ,assissed us with how best to see Quebec city ,where to get the bus, which was right across from the hotel ,also the food was great in the dining room

Our room looked like it had just been remodelled with 5* quality. For an old building it was First Class. And when we left our small radio behind the staff retrieved it and mailed it off to us and it was back home when our vacation ended. Very impressed. Thanks.

Very well located, far from the road so we dont hear any noise. -
Matane is simply awful, but the Riotel is an oasis in a desert of ugliness. You can have dinner and breakfast at the hotel and never have to go out

I was worried by some of the recent reviews, but my room was clean and
comfortable. The breakfast is typical for a hotel continental breakfast.
