Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I love the decor of the entrance lobby, hallway, and elevator area. Room was very clean and tasteful. Mini refrigerator, water pot, and coffee maker were perfect. View was also nice. Clean bathroom. I couldn't have asked for more! -

The location is perfect. It's close to the Inner Harbour, BC Parliament Building and the famous Fairmount Empress. Walking less than five minutes, you will be at the coast. The Douglas Street, which is the street that Helm's Inn is on, has tons of restaurants, convenient stores and shops. You can easily walk a restaurant and grab something to eat. I really liked how they stored my suitcase before check in so I could do my work and same thing after I checked out. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.

Our experience at the Union Club was nothing but positive, the rooms were small but comfortable and the service in the restuarant was excellent as was the food. Awesome price for downtown Victoria and included breakfast that you could order off the menu not a continental style. The waiter was suburb. Would definitly stay again, also the no cell phones in the common area was very refreshing to say the least.

rooms appeared clean and were comfortable. Breakfast was more than I expected and dinners were very good. Loved the gin and tonic drink too! Location was perfect. Most of all, the staff were all extra special, smiles, helpful and seemed to enjoy their job! -

The hotel was beautiful, well done reno's, the lobby is gorgeous, we stayed in an older room with older t.v. and furnishings, but was everything we needed, we spent the only time in the room sleeping, so the bed was comfortable, clean and had free wi'fi, so I could post my pics on FB as we travelled, only thing I would request going forward, is coffee offered to guests that get up before 7:30 am, when breakfast is served, we are early risers, 7Eleven is 1/2 a block away, and was a nice walk in

courteous staff, helpful. hotel was very full due to marathon weekend, (I was a participant). they were geared up for the event. The hotel was quiet, I slept well. I would consider staying there again.
