Pouada Villa do Carmo is situated on an excellent location: within the old city centre but just outside the main tourist spot. The view from the breakfast loggia over the All Saints Bay is great. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. I will come back certainly to this hotel whenever I will visit Salvador again.

Bathrooms are modest but clean.

Very nice view of harbor from room balcony.

Not enough wastebaskets. Shower was a bit primitive for us.

Very kind and helpful owner. Good location close to the pelourinho in a safe and colourful neighbourhood. Breakfast is good with nice views.

The standard room is not the one pictured online, it is very small, no tv and the beds and bathroom could use renovation.
