Lo que la gente dice
Good location, easy to find. Street number is marked, just inside door frame, plus owners phone number incase needed. Rooms good size. Although solo traveler, two persons easily accommodated. There are larger rooms, other than the one allocated to my stay. Bathroom is spotless. Double sink and deep tub, with lots of hot water. Shower is inside the tub. Breakfast. Great! Fresh fruit salad, good selection of cereal, delicious pastries, bread, cold meats, jams and individual pot of coffee. Nicely . todo comentarios »
What a great visit to Bruges. We went for the Christmas markets and had a limited amount of time (just 24 hours) so location was extremely important. Wow, were we lucky to have found the Guesthouse Mirabel. We arrived there before the check-in time but the owner's lovely son welcomed us in to the wonderful guesthouse and offered us coffee whilst we waited for the owner, Gaston, to arrive. Couldn't fault a thing. Beautiful spacious rooms and bathrooms, lovely public areas, great breakfast and .
This hotel was run more like a B&B. Gasthov and Beatrix the new owners are very attentive to your every need.
Even escorting us to a free parking spot for our car. The room at 40 sqmtrs was huge.
The bathroom modern with a bath and a separate shower.
For breakfast you got eggs cooked any way you liked.
Croissants , baguettes Fruit and yoghurt and fresh brewed coffee or tea. The location was perfect with excellent restaurants right on your door and the Grote market 5 minutes walk. After read.
I loved, loved, loved this place! The room was huge and sparkling clean.
The bathroom was huge and sparkling clean. There was a shower and a bath
tub independent of each other. The view out my window was fantastic; I
could see the church and the windmill. There were a lot of tv channels
in English, which is hard to come by in Europe. The place was super
quiet. The breakfast was great. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to
the main square. And I can't forget the man who makes the magic
happen, G.
It was really pleasant stay. The owner very helpful. The place very beautiful and clean: the building from 1861 with extremely high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, spacious rooms and large doors. Comfortable bed, clean and spacious bathroom. Very nice breakfast with everything you need to start a day: juice, milk, tea and coffee, fresh bread and croissants, cheese, yogurt and very tasty fresh fruit salad. The location is perfect: on the one hand, only 5 minutes by foot to the Market square, on t.
All you have to do is get on the bus in front of the train, drop in a coin, and you're there. Owner and staff couldn't have done more for us (calling in dinner reservations, getting directions to the seaside for us, holding our bags after checkout and then giving us a ride to the train!) The canal city of Bruges is magical and romantic. Easy walking to lots of good cafes, restaurants and bars for mussels and tastings of Belgium beer. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. Included bre.
Gaston the owner went out of his way, particularly the first night when
he drove in front of our rental car to the parking (which is separate,
relatively cheap for 24 hours and close - as the crow flies) in the rain
to ensure that we could navigate the one-way system in the pouring rain.
Given this was about midnight when we finally arrived it was very kind
of him. The guesthouse, rooms and so are luxurious and large by European
standards and very comfortable. We will stay again.
The owner was very helpful giving advice on we're to eat and places to visit. The room was large and clean the bathroom was well equipped with a seperate shower and bath with two handbasins. It's a period property with decor to match high ceiling and large mirrors the stairs may be a little steep and plentiful but the owner was only too happy to help carry our bags. The breakfast each day consisted of fresh rolls meats cheese eggs and pastries with Juice tea or coffee.
Loved the location. The owner was very helpful in recommending restaurants. Very close to the market area (5 minute walk). Parking was close by although hard to find by car because of the one way streets. Walking was much quicker to the parking garage and quite reasonably priced. There was an outdoor musical festival that was on while we were there so that was very entertaining and fun! Lovely bed and breakfast with spacious rooms and very clean.
-The cleanest accommodation we've ever had in Europe. -The host was
very pleasant and extremely helpful. -The room and the bathroom were
spacious, spotless clean and tastefully decorated. -Good bed and linen.
-Very quiet despite the central location. -Good breakfast with nice
fruit salad, good coffee and good selection of bread. -Convenient
location for all the touristic activities.
Very good place to stay. Absolutely no flaws. The room was very spacious, the bathrooom comfortable, mini bar, very good homemade breakfast, wifi internet, friendly personnel with individual approach and readiness to assist. Reasonable prices, great location inside the city center of Brugge. It's actually a private house with several rooms. Absolutely recomendable!.
Very good location in a charming spot of the inspiring and most beautiful old city of Bruges. Gaston, the owner, did his best to make our stay as confortable as possible. Were not for the many steps of the high ladder we were suposed to climb up in order to get to our bedroom it would be perfect. Public Parking very close to the hotel at a very reasonable cost.
Kind owner of the house, help me to raise my trolley case to 4th floor, explain and recommend me in detail of the town. BB is located not far from the burg and the market, within walking distance. Excellent breakfast served in the living room with everything you want prepared by the owner. Remember to contact the owner before you arrive.
Everything! The B&B is in a lovingly restored 17th century townhouse featuring period style décor combined with twenty-first century amenities. The host was always available, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The establishment was smack in the middle of the old town. Underground parking was within easy walking distance.
Extremely friendly and helpful owner. Excellent location. The house is beautiful and full of character, the room was very comfortable, spacious and very attractive. It also offered a nice view. I thoroughly enjoyed the very nice breakfast! One of the best places I ever stayed at.
This Hotel is 5 stars all the way. From arrival to departure we were treated with the utmost of courtesy and total consideration. It was absolutely perfect in every way, so much so that while we were there we planned and booked another visit in May.
The hostel was in a quiet place even though it was very close to the center of town.
The owner was a great gentleman, friendly, polite, proper professional. The room we stayed in was large spacious with large bathroom.
Ideal suggest the hostel.
Huge rooms.
Very conveniently located for center of Bruges.
Owner was very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was awesome.
Everywhere was spotless.
Mini bar in the bedroom.
Everywhere was spotless.
I would stay here again without hesitation.
Cleanliness, comfort, facilities, location, space, air conditioning, bathroom. Owner, Gaston, very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Lovely and quiet, but still so central. Good breakfast. Absolutely recommended.
A lovely old building (1861) fantastic decor and architecture, with high ceilings and doors, chandeliers etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. very comfortable room and a great location.
Superb breakfast too.
The location was superb. The staff was considerate and helpful,
especially with our late evening arrival. Our room was spacious and the
entire property attractive. Breakfast was very nice as well.
The location is perfect - in the quiet place and at the same time close to all attractions. Nice room with high ceilings and comfortable bed, very good breakfast. The owner was very helpful.
We would reccomend this guest house to anyone.Seven minute walk to main square yet far enough away to be secluded.Check out the back street restaurants for best food and prices.
The house itself is beautiful - a classic 19th century townhouse decorated with excellent taste.
The care and attention to everything, including breakfast, is outstanding.
Host was wonderful. He had great restaurant recommendations and provided a nice breakfast. Nicely decorated, large room. Close to canal and main attractions.
Better than many a good hotel, first rate service, lovely ambience, good breakfast. You could hardly ask for more in a close to centre location. Excellent!.
Central location. Just the type of small hotel we were looking for. The lack of sign outside adds to the charm but easy to find if you have the address.
Spacious rooms, high ceilings, late-night check-in not a problem. fresh ingredients of best quality at breakfast, very quiet for a city centre location.
Excellent guest house with large comfortable room. The owner was very accommodating an helpful and the location excellent for the city centre.
The friendly personal touch from Gaston. Beautiful spacious rooms. Very comfortable and cosy. Great breakfast in the beautiful dining room.
Location was ideal. Rooms were large and exceptionally clean. First class. Absolutely perfect for a short stay in a great city.
Rooms were really good. They were large, nicely decorated and light. Owner was friendly and attentive. Breakfast great.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Large, comfortable room.
Excellent breakfast.
Good central location.
The location, the friendliness of the host, good quality furnishings and a good breakfast.
Very close to everything. Clean and a nice place.Host is very accommodating.
Everything was great! And we hope it's great for now.
Window view... mmmm...
Very friendly staff, excellent location. Good breakfast.
Good value for money, very clean fantastic breakfasts.
A very clean homely hotel! Beautiful!.
Fabulous host. Superb accommodation.
Quite , clean.
Nothing! Only item I would mention for other travelers, the building being so spacious and spread over several floors, there are a few flights of stairs to negotiate if your room is on the top floor. The owner kindly offered assistance with my one bag, but for people traveling with heavy luggage, might come prepared for a little climb and some exercise. It didn't really bother me and I wouldn't pass up visit because of that.
Nothing.
Honestly, there was not one problem during my whole 3 night stay.
There's really no reason for me to go back to bruges, but I might
just so I can stay in that room again. Everything was as perfect as
it could be.
One warning it is an old house and has not been possible to
install a lift.
There was nothing not to like except having to leave.
No air conditioning and no elevator. The nights cooled quite nicely so that was helpful this time of year (although if it had been a couple of weeks earlier, it would have been very warm at night to sleep). We were on the top floor so there were a lot of stairs, but the owner and his son brought our luggage up for us.
-A little bit difficult to find because there is no sign of B&B on
the building or on the door. -There is no lift...and we had to climb up
to the 3rd floor.
nothing.
it rained.
Lack of tea and coffee making facility in the room.
Lots of stairs to climb if you are on the third floor.
Only thing I can think of is absence of a lift, so had to carry bags up2 flights of stairs.
Fresh air fiends may find it a bit noisy during the night - with cars driving over the cobbled streets which add to Bruges's quaintness. Obviously the Guesthouse can't do anything about that, but you can't hear it if you shut the window.
The lack of an elevator was a bit of a headache but the owner helped us
with our bags.
Cyclists took some getting used to,so many!.
Some people may find the stairs difficult, as there is no lift. Not a problem for us.
No lift, stairs are steep.
There was nothing to dislike.
No car park at hotel. difficult parking for loading and unloading bags but nearby car park was cheap and in Bruges you walk (or cycle) everywhere.
Difficult to find hotel from outside - no signs, no indication that the building is a guest house.
Although we found the street, the guesthouse was difficult to identify as it had no discernible sign. We had to ask three people before we eventually found the Mirabel. A minor issue as the accommodation was very good.
It's not easily signposted so was difficult to find on foot.
Very minor point . External signage would help guests to find guesthouse.
Could have done with tea and coffee making facilities in the room and stairs could be a problem for people with reduced mobility.
We stayed on the fourth floor , I call it the red room. The room is very big but a little bit plain. It can use a little bit of flowers or contrasting fabrics from the plain red fabrics.
Stairs after walking ;).
high floors and no elevators (I'm a bit lazy:-) ).
Cojld of done wigh tee and coffee making facility in the room.
