Location of the hotel was excellent. Close by to all shops and restaurants and also walking distance to the ferry terminals and the aquatics centre where they have a turtle hospital. Hotel was amazing, clean, modern and very big rooms. Very useful having a washer/dryer in the bathroom. -

We booked 2 apartments for our family, young adlts in one apartment and adults with small children in the other. We were placed next door to each other which made it fantastically easy to go from one to the other. Checking in late and not having to pay till the morning was a Godsend, especially with small children.
Being so close to the Strand and the water park was the biggest selling point for us.
The apartment was very roomy.

Excellent location to restaurants, city and hotels. Markets were close by on the weekend. Fantastic restaurant on ground floor of apartments. Really well cared for and very clean. Liked everything - location, food, value for money. Best thing was the staff - they were absolutely fantastic - so friendly and helpful. I liked the size of the rooms but bed could be a king size for a couple, not much for free with the cost of the room only coffee, view was good I believe that in a casino doesn't matter how much the room cost should of had a free breakfast included

It's a new building. We took the one bedroom apat. It was big,
comfortable, we could stay there a month. Its actually a flat with a lot
of space. When we booked, we booked the studio, but it was so small that
we couldn't even put our 2 suitcases in. So we upgraded to the one
bedroom, which was like 3 studios combined -

EVERYTHING!!! A great destination, the motel was spotless, staff friendly, it was wonderful. Very highly recommended, will go back. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The view was fantastic, sit on the balcony, well shaded in the heat of the afternoon (with a breeze) and watch jet skiers, sail boarders, sailing boats, the Red Baron, Magnetic Island, local and o/seas shipping and have eagles riding the thermals just in front of you and the convience of the Strand and the beach l

I always like to stay somewhere different and this was a great find. Brand new with a real boutique property feel. Very personalised service, and great modern rooms. I travel to TSV often and the hotels there, while OK are all becoming pretty dated so this was just what the city needed.

The position was good - close to Townsville CBD, local buses, coffee shops, supermarket, chemist and some speciality shops. For me personally it was close to family. -

good and the apartment was sensibly laid out. Beautiful bathroom, loved

With being allocated a dirty room, we rang reception.. the service was exceptional, a staff member was contacted, a new room was allocated. Shame about the dirty room but that happens...the resolution was organised in an efficient and timely manner..so well done to the staff involved

Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value.
