We absolutely loved our holiday at Diamond Bay. We are a young couple on honeymoon and we found it to be completely relaxing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, everything was clean and the food was delicious. The bedrooms were very clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The food at breakfast was amazing and good variety. The facilities were fantastic. The rooms were great.

Hotel designed for Russians, stuff and other people of that city doesn't bother to talk to you in English, russian guides russian menu, if you don't like to eat only egg dishes for breakfast this hotel for you. Golf- driving range Frequent buses to town. Pool area. We had a room near both bars that were very loud all night. Mosquitoes were very bad. The focus of the resort was driven by Russian people not many Australians these people are rude and not friendly. My only complaint would be the manager of the banana leaf bar wasn't as frieindly as most of the other staff. Nothing. *cost of extra bed in room of $41 was bad-Novotel was $ 23 p/n *cost of food too high *Not a place to go if you are not Russian. poor beach by the hotel. The food was cheap for the buffets but the standard was obscure and more directed for the Russian market. Also it is way out of town, so it's an idea to hire a moped. - cheap and uncomfortable bed mattress - Poor shower design. Bad design of drainage system cause water to flow out of shower area into the toilet area. My wife almost fell due to slippery. A real hazard. Old style room. Poor service. Quite expensive food in hotel, they providing shuttle bus to the city but very inconvenient time. Rushed on arrival- given a drink and biscuit but rushed away before consuming it. Expensive day trips. Damp and smelly rooms. Very Dated, poorly lit rooms. Restaurants shut and overpriced. Crush for the buses into town. After numerous requests to book airport transfer, they did not book it. Loud music on the beach at night. Dark rooms Poor customer care no care and attention. Universe restraint worst in my whole ten week stay ! Terrible layout with no ambiance I have been in Vietnam ten weeks and this is the worst resort in many ways....mainly the staff Unprofessional - rude - impolite - unhelpful and very unaccommodating !.
