we got an fair special rate. the staff was very helpful. We also appreciated your housekeeper folks and their helpfulness. We always travel every summer for wine tasting and peaches. We like its location and price and pool area. Super friendly and helpful front desk person. Very comfortable room and bed for sleeping. Staff were especially nice. From the front desk to the cleaning staff just great.

The close proximetry to the freeway, the hospital my daughter had to take her test at and the orchard we wanted to visit. Close and convenient with being able to park right next to my room. Location was close to Convention center. Good price. It was grungy. Refrig falling over, micro turntable not working, coffee machine broken, wash rags full of holes, bugs in bathroom....never stay there again! Really not clean. Price was resonable but would spend the extra money next time and stay at the Red Lion. pool was nice but you had to be there when it opened to get a seat. Affordable, easy check in check out. convenience. Pool. the tv sets and beds could be updated but considering the economy and the high costs for hotels to survive you don't do too bad. Seems like it is getting a little run down. It would be nice to clean or replace carpets and bedding and towels. Channel guide for tv was not up to date. Pillows kinda small. Card keys did not work and had to have them re-done 3 times which still did not work. No meat choice on the breakfast buffet, and no second choice of pastry. We had a late check-in, which I had informed them of in advance. I asked for a quiet room because we needed to get to sleep for an early departure. However, we ended up two doors from the elevator, and next to a room where people came into after we arrived, and talked for over an hour. The hotel was not full, so they should have been able to put us in a more isolated, quiet room. I didn't complain because we weren't in the mood to change rooms after unpacking. When I booked the room, it was quoted at $79, and when it was charged it was at $87. That was a little disappointing. The carpet was stained/dirty in our room. The door did not go fully to the floor so there was a lot of hall noise that we could hear because our room was directly across from the elevator. The morning breakfast was 'ok' but would have been nice if they would have had some cream cheese for the bagels. Could have been a bit more roomier... Dated bathrooms. Food same every day. Staff was pretty borderline in service. Out dated rooms, breakfast had less food on the weekend during the busiest time. Originally was put in a room next to the "gym" that looks onto a concrete wall. Had requested bottom floor and was told this was all that was left. We were staying 3 nights. Did get moved to a room on the 2nd floor. Gates at the pool are very loud and shake everytime they are used. Bed sheets didn't fit and easily came off when just sitting down. Comforter smelled dirty. Neighbors were loud kids running an yelling down hallway at 3am. there's a time to replace linens in a hotel - that was about four years ago. The sheets were pilling, the bed was lumpy. I waa put in a room where I had to move at 2 am in the am because they couldnt control the other guests full the early hours. I complained twice with no positive results. Asked to speak with manger waited and no.one cameout. Worse experience I have ever had at any hotel. Payed 200.00 and felt I was ripped off. Would like to speak with someone since I will be coming back to yakima soon. Bar & Pool were both closed. The mattress was old and very uncomfortable, bathroom towels had yellow stains on them. Wallpaper was peeling off walls in places.I would definetly not stay there again. no flat screen tv's. Our bed was without any blankets or bedspread....only a top sheet and bottom sheet. The bottom sheet was fitted, but was too small for the mattress, and would not stay on the mattress for more than a minute or two. We asked the main desk for a blanket to be sent to our room, and they said that they would send housekeeping to deliver it us, but it never arrived. It was a most uncomfortable...and cold night, as we had to use our coats to keep warm while we tried to sleep.
