  Friendly owner, you can see that he is proud of his motel. The motel is basic but we had a great bed, clean bathroom and useful fridge. You don't need much more when going for a long hike to Mt Eddy, or relaxing spa somewhere near! Comfortable, quiet and amazing breakfast across the street. The room was very clean and well kept, the bed was surprisingly comfortable and the bathroom was pleasantly updated. The owner has gone out of his way to provide a distraction free room for travelers to spend the night, and while keeping it simple, provided us with an exceptional value.

  Cleanliness of room 223. Give this staff some credit for their efforts. Have stayed at other 6's and they were run down and staff was "automated" but not here. I travel with Pet. Was concerned about enviornment thus not daily washing of sheets and linens. Way to save water! - The staff were excellent, friendly people. I really appreciated how I was given a room at the quiet end of the south wing. I had been on the road for over 12 hours!

  very friendly, kind & polite staff; great food, clean,comfortable rooms; easy on-and-off freeway access; café is open extended hours for guest convenience & wait staff go out of their way to please (ie when ice machine was broken, café staff gave ice to me per my request & were very friendly & helpful. The food at the cafe was good, and the senior menu (first time I ever ordered one) was an excellent value. The entire property is modest but well cared for and comfortable.   Everything in room was very clean. Hallway carpeting was clean also, even if a bit worn at the seams. Bed was very comfortable--not too soft. - Very good location to the freeway. We only stayed overnight on our way to another destination
