Ideal location for shoppers. Walk across the street and you are at an upscale mall. Went into the hotel restaurant half hour before closing and the wait staff was friendly, efficient, and told us to take our time eating our excellent burger. The rooms were very clean and updated. We could walk to the Somerset Mall from the front door. When we had too many bags, we just took them to the room and went back to shop again.

My room was very clean as well as the rest of the hotel. It's a perfect location to get around the Troy area. upgraded to a suite. Huge room. Very nice and clean. I ate dinner in the hotel bar. Food was good and I recieved a 20% discount. This is my second stay...very comfortable, practical, clean and great location near somerset mall...at a reasonable rate. Classy decor, colors Friendly staff Glass glasses in rooms Bedding Shower Desk coffee maker out of the way, nice idea. they were able to change rooms for me as I had requested 2 beds and they put us in a room with 1 bed. The shower control needed to be strong-armed to turn off. the hotel had a special event going on and only offered a limited menu for the weekend. We wanted a nice relaxing dinner and had to pick what they offered. Breakfast was delicious and nicely served. A little pricey, but we could have ordered less. My first thought was hotel was a little dated but my room was nice. Aircon sound too loud. Wi-fi very slow No way to get in fresh air without heating or cooling. I would like a low speed setting without a lot of noise. no fridge in the room, and no continental breakfast...for that price they could have supplied a continental breakfast. No pool and the restaurant menu was fair!. No free coffee or tea available to guests as in many hotels where you can help yourself. Purchasing tea at restaurant very pricy. Noisy plumbing, too few hangers for clothes. No one was able to assist us with a place to dine. Their only suggestion was in the hotel. The wifi was so slow had to ask for a cord. The shower head was very low and there wasn't much of a spray. The bathroom had alot of wear, looked a little shabby. (paint chipping, terrible calk job and shower head was very old and not good). I had to purchase a refridgerator because one didn't come with my room. shower drain ran extremely slow. We would have liked to have a continental breakfast included. No luggage rack. The prices in the bar and restaurant. Ice bucket did not have platci liner. No pool as advertised!!!!!. It wasn't pet friendly!. Really it was unremarkable, just average and expensive. I stay at Starwood properties and believe they are better value. - the no breakfast, or it not just being included as an automatic at the calibre of the hotel - even a help yourself gourmet coffee stand . . . something. - bathroom really tiny - I travelled with my two teenage daughters. Need bigger bathrooms. Room, strong odor, room was hot, put on the air, fan, extremely noisy for sleeping. Well, I was given a room in which the air conditioner went off and on every two minutes all night and I lost a whole nights sleep. I should have been totally refunded for that night. The air conditioner was extremely loud. The next day I was assigned another room. Size of room was very small. Their computers were down so they emailed me a reciept - which is incorrect (charged me for two nights). Surely staff at the front desk. When asked for directions to room it was like they were doing us a favor, got a bottle of water and put it on my room and you would of thought the world came to an end because the girl had to write a slip. No smiles, no greetings, you can take your staff and shove it. No fridge in the room? Shocking .No grocery shop nearabout. The hotel gift shop is selling a $1 water bottle in $4! amazingly disappointing!!.
