The hotel was very nice and very close to "downtown" Tombstone. It was literally a one minute drive down to Allen Street. We had a great stay at the hotel and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. I was glad we stayed the night in Tombstone so we had more time to enjoy the area. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our 9 day trip through Arizona!. The extras from fresh cookies to activities were very nice. The outdoor area with fire pit was the best part of the stay especially looking out to the mountains and scenery of tombstone Arizona was incredible. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Great stay.

The quiet location just on the outskirts of town, but within walking distance of Boot Hill, with beautiful views of the countryside appealed to us enormously. We liked the commitment to saving water. The staff were wonderful.Rooms clean and very comfortable! The breakfast in the morning was excellent! I have never stayed at a hotel that provided such a good breakfast and also a nice gift when checking out. I will stay again!. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were awesome. There was a very good breakfast with a good variety, the beds were very comfortable, and it was a nice relaxing atmosphere. Location, wifi. I know this applies to many hotels these days, but we do not like the use of styrofoam at breakfast. The hotel is contributing hugely to environmental degradation. We avoid contributing to this by carrying china cups and bowls with us when we travel, but I would prefer to pay a few extra dollars per night which would be enough to employ a person to wash dishes thereby solving two problems. Small pool/pool area. The photo of the front of the hotel gives the impression both are generously sized. pool was down and no one new about it, nor no one was in a hurry to fix it. Very disappointed about that, kids and all of us really picked that hotel for that reason...:(. Everything was great. Large of kids arrived and the stomping from the room above was very disturbing when we were trying to sleep. No name of the hotel outside. We past it and had to asked. The hotel is not walking distance to the OK Corral like it says on the advertisement. We were not able to get adjoining rooms. We had two rooms and our stay would have been a lot better if we could have had a door into each others room. Would have liked a fitness center.. The pancake machine wasn't working. Check in was a nightmare. Reserved 3 months in advance. Didn't think I was going to get a room. Room change 3 times. 2nd time I was unpacked and lying in bed when I was asked to move due to handicap room. Was not what I requested either. After all that bull ...everything was nice. Regulating our room temp was difficult because our room did not have a thermostat. 2nd room had a thermostat. the night it rained real hard with lightening, but it was okay,. The hotel is being refurbished and the rooms are in a very poor state.We had to upgrade to a suite to get half decent accommodation. It was cheap but I would rather have paid more and gone elsewhere. Until the refurbishment is finished potential guest should be warned. we were drawn to it by photos of the lobby which doesn't represent the rest of the hotel. There was no hot water or Wi- Fi. No elevator to second floor and side entry was not working from outside. Nothing. No laundry on site. We had a couple of problems with our room, we were offered a different room, but stayed where we were, we had already unpacked everything. The problems were trash left in room, used washcloth in bathroom. pool should be at the rear of hotel. to far from Tomestone action without transportation by hotel. Bathroom floor was very sticky. My boys and I had to wear our flip flops when we were using bathroom. No elevator...yikes!. toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall and there wasn't a shower cap. Didn't like the cappaccino machine being turned off due to it blowing the breaker! Would be nice to have a restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was great but had to drive into Tombstone for lunch and supper. no elevator, was difficult when carrying heavy bags upstairs. We had booked our room thru letsbookhotel.com. We booked two rooms. When we arrived, they only had one room for us even though I had the confirmation for both. We were the only guests in line and it too the gal 30 minutes to check us in. When we checked out the young girl stayed on her phone and didn't say I a word to us very rude. Breakfast was horrible and room could have been cleaner. The room was very dusty, did not look clean. the breakfast on the second day was inedible.The pool area was unkempt. Dissapointed. Maid service needs to be more attentive.. They would be better to serve a continental breakfast than the breakfast they serve. Not good. Had to go out for a real breakfast. Staff needs to have answers to easy questions. a little too far away from tombstone its self and lack of staff.
