Good hotel in centre of Syracuse. Its is within walking distance both to downtown and to the University. Big rooms with free internet. Easy to find with its round form and 18 stories, so when you go by car you found it easily. It was convenient as to where I was visiting. It was comfortable, needs some updating, but all in all it was a comfortable stay. Restaurant on site since nothing else around if you come in late. Free parking in garage.

Hotel lobby was nice especially the party area with books to read. The free shuttle was a plus. Food was very good. Availability of parking Down town location. Restaurant on ground floor is very good. Staff and gym facilties. Close to st.joes. Friendly front staff. Club level was a joke. Only open for free breakfast and that to was cheap served on paper and plastic. The air conditioner is a little noisy and can hear the sound from next door but is tolerable. N/A. The internet was touch and go. the lack of choice's. bed wasn't very comfortable. elevators were weird took a long time. Being charged $9 for parking. The elevator was very loud and interrupted our sleep. Road noise from highway a little loud on that side of the building. breakfast! first of all, it should be complimentary. second, no one was tending to the buffet, we had to ask the omelette guy to fill empty items( it was not his job), our waitress was lame, for instance, we had to ask for creamer for coffee when she finally came back around. also, the bathrooms are extremely small and inconvenient, it's like fitting a square person in a round building. Stayed in room 1312, the bathroom fan barely works and noise from the interstate didn't allow for much sleep... I have booked 1 double w/ more price and 1 king. But I ended up w/ 2 king rooms. Thanks. pillows are way too bulky (had to use a towel as a pillow). Room drinking was charged @ us$. 3 each bottle. This is not happened in any other hotel. Normally room drinking bottles are complimantry. The outside of the building needs attention. The rooms were nice but there was a moldy stale smell which seemed to come from the bathroom. No refrigerator No microwave Very basic services. Just beside noisy highway Bad area around the hotel Syracuse is not really a nice city except their university. Location right next to Interstate -- I asked for a "quiet" room, and could almost have reached my hand out of the window and touched the freeway. Reservations were made n still was wrong in computer....room was OK...not worth the money...was close to st joes...too much noise from highway. Hotel was not located around anything. Not walking distance to any stores, shops, located right next to busy highway. Gym small.
