We stayed at the hotel on 6/27 and 7/3. Omar and Margaret at the front desk were very nice. The rooms were very clean and updated for a hotel 25 years old. The bed, a Simmons was excellent. Both stays were very good. We were very happy with everything. Guest satisfaction is paramount. Suites are spacious, quiet and comfortable. Beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast has wide variety and is replenished frequently. Location is safe. Property is "classic" rather than "contemporary/modern" We loved it.
all reviews » Staff was very friendly and bent over backwards to see that our stay was a good one.Don`t have any idea who the manager or head of house keeping was but both deserve a pat on the back for a job well done. Hope to see you next year. The suite was convenient for our older son to stay with us and still have privacy. The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms are extremely clean. Also the no smoking is a plus. Everything - a very comfortable, well managed place to stay with emphasis on making vacationers happy & comfortable. We thought it was run very efficiently and staff was superb. Loved the comfort of the rm., also the great staff. They were very considerate helped with all our questions, very friendly and never made us feel as if we were bothering them. I liked almost everything in windmill. the room was very spacious, friendly staff, nice , yummy breakfast, hardworking housekeeping and very convenient in almost everything!. From the desk clerk (believed name Omar) to employees I saw in hallway -without exception I could tell they tried to be friendly and offer good customer service,. The staff is friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. The rooms are well kept and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The location, the pool/spa, and the outdoor seating area. Also the rooms were very spacious especially if you were staying more than a day or two. Our ground floor suites opening onto a large grassy area were perfect for our two year old granddaughter. She also loved the duck pond and pool. Room with the adjoining suite and wet bar area for receiving friends and watching TV or reading in a sitting area instead of on the bed. I like the location and the cleanliness. The staff that answered question as I had then. I like the comfy feeling of the rooms. Because we had an early check out,lady at desk fixed a little brkfst care pac for us and was much appreciated. Clean, nice hoy yut and the breakfast was great. I was working long hours and the tub fely good every night. Everything, the staff is ultra polite, the hotel is very clean and relaxing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!. Staff was very helpful! There wasn't anything we didn't like. Ice machines on our floors were not working. no comment here. I have nothing to say as it was a very nice experience. Garbage in lake. The room should have been a little cleaner. The room was to hot. Thermostat controls should not be locked. Breakfast meat and eggs was sometimes lukewarm instead of hot. The eggs where running but still tasted okay. Sorry, but everything was great. Not much I didn't like. Can't think of a thing, it was very nice!. nothing. Breakfast food was hard to come by...almost always run out no matter what time we dropped in. Breakfast was always the same. old tv's in the rooms. Lots of children/families, i.e., noise; a bit costly;. Nothing. Not enough soap in bathrooms left for family of 6. Just a couple of minor things I found disappointing. First, the shampoo in the room was not big enough for anyone to wash their hair. The bottle contained just a few drops at best. Also no shower cap. Not a lot of luxury. Nothing. Breakfast was not fully out at 8:30-9:00. Extreme difficulty in locating the faciity.Not well marked. Poor directions on web. Difficulty with reservations on web site. Another caller while I registered was having the same problem. The broken elevator!. TV stations were not the best focus. Breakfast could have been better. Dirty windows. Need to upgrade to flat screen TVS; fitness room is very poorly equiped; get rid of the styrofoam at breakfast!. walls are too thin. I could hear the people talking next door. large loud drunk wedding party one night. kept me awake. manager looked after it. plastic silverware too thin. Pool was a little dirty. Business atmosphere with conference in session. Not good with young family present. Had to keep quite. Larry put us in the fartherest room from anything. View was at the trash bin. Across the hall would have a view of the pool & spa. Quiet but, a long walk for my bad knees. Stayed for 8 nights so we walked a lot more than we needed to. The pool was crowded and not clean. Room was old, looked very dated, no room service, no list of close restaurants, and location we discovered was considered the getto of town.
