  Size of rooms like a small apartment - cleanliness - location - friendly and helpful staff - comfortable beds - everything we needed for our stay - everything worked - refrigerator and microwave were great - free parking was really nice in an area where parking is at a premium - close to great Farmer's Market on Saturday - had A/C but didn't need ... what people say » to use it - felt very safe - close to restaurants, grocery, drug store and book store! - The place was very clean. You could smell the lemon fresh scent and there was no dust anywhere. I liked how big the room was and that it was a full suite. I even liked the old fashioned fridge that had to be from the 40'S. The furniture was outdated but in good shape. They at least had an updated tv. Free parking and the neighborhood was much better than what you'd find most budget places in.

  The motel has different sections grouped around a small office. One section is around a court yard with parking space and another section is along Alaska road. The rooms around the court yard are relatively quiet, Alaska road is busy. The room was somewhat small but OK. The bathroom was nice and clean. Free Wifi worked well and had sufficient - The staff was friendly and very accomodating. Continental breakfast included fresh fruit and greek yogurt which made me happy. The rates were high but lower than those of hotels closer to downtown Seattle. We parked our car most of the time and took public transportation to Pike Place Market, to the ferry terminal for a trip to Bainbridge Island, and to the Chittenden Locks and Carl English Botanical Gardens.

  Extremely nice staff, pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were decorated in a beautiful and cosy way. The historic feeling is great. Great location. For breakfast, you can get tea or coffee and delicious pastry. I also liked how they turned the "bad" stuff into something nice; instead of saying "we only have bathrooms in the corridor and not in the roo... what people say » ms" they say "You can borrow for free a nice bathrobe if you want!". - Jan (the owner) was very friendly and had a lot of suggestions for sights and activities during my short stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station as well as downtown Seattle/Pioneer Square. It is also on/near public transit lines. The hotel has an extremely rich and important history that Jan is always willing to talk about. If I ever make it to Seattle again, I will definitely stay here!

  The gentleman on the front desk was extremely helpful. We were there to see a concert at Safeco Field - he gave us explicit detail on where we could get a bus, how much a cab cost and how much parking would cost us. We decided to take a cab and he came out to check on us when we were outside waiting for the cab (which came right on time, I might... what people say » add). The room was very basic but had everything we needed. We had a corner room so it was extremely quiet. - The staff wasextremely helpful and nice. They talk to you like you are friends an your just stopping. The staff made me feel comfortable. We checked out one day early after our travel plans changed and to my surprise was refunded for the night we didn't stay. I did not ask for this refund they did this on their own. It was appreciated, thank you.

  Loved the friendly staff and the location. There is no restaurant or lounge but we walked a block to the Sorrento and enjoyed their lounge. There is a neighborhood grocery(small) actually a convenience store plus that was within a block & 1/2 that was great! Only a few blocks from Seattle u of which we enjoyed the great gardens and landscape. ... what people say » Great value for the money and a grand remodeled place. Believe it was built in the early 19th century. Only a $10 (includes tip) cab drive to Century - The building is old, built in 1931, and has been modestly upgraded in vintage decor. If you were having an extended stay to be near a family member in a close medical center, it is ideal. No air-conditioning which is usually not a problem in Seattle. Vintage elevator would be a challenge for the handicap. Parking is close but a pay by the hour operation.

  Owner, Mr. Cho, and his wife were so friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in about 2 hours early, which helped so much, since we had been on the road since 8 am and the entire day before. My son, 25, is going to uw in the fall for law school. It was pretty close to the freeway and only took about 10 minutes to get to the campus area. ... what people say » We were in Seattle checking out apartments and the city. - We stayed at Crown Inn twice on our last trip to the Northwest and we would stay there again. It is an older property on the old Pacific coast highway, but is kept nicely. There are good inexpensive restaurants a few blocks to the north and we found access to seatac airport surprisingly easy. Public transit (bus) to center city is also easy.
