I checked in on 11/7/2013 around 4:30 or so and there was a gentlemen and a young lady who greated me and they were simply fantastic I dont remember there names but honestly I come from working at a hilton property in berkeley they are simply ver... what people say » y professional and the best will never forget how they showed me around and told me the best places to visit. I dont know if you could look or figure - This is a great hostel with very friendly staff who promote a camaraderie between their guests. The free dinners and cook your own breakfast with eggs and pancakes provided by the hostel give everyone an opportunity to mingle and enjoy travel experiences. It's a microcosm of a commune where everyone contributes willingly to make the experience good for the whole. There were families, solo travelers and groups of all ages. Very safe and great location.

  The Hostel is really nice. . It's in Chinatown. Not the safest neighbourhood but it has Great access to public transport and the most important sights. You could just walk there.   We LOVED the old style hotel room that this place offered. Room is large but the hotel is OLD and in need of some minor repairs. The hotel desk clerks were very informative and friendly. - The room was clean. The furniture in good condition. The desk person was extremely helpful.   Staff who were all so pleasant and very attentive. A request for extra towels and pillows was fulfilled within minutes. The sofabed in the room to accommodate a larger family was excellent. It was the only hotel in Seattle we found that didn't require booking two rooms, therefore making the visit affordable. They were just so much prettier than any hotel I've ever seen. Puckered bed topper with a teal tree design end lay. The view was nice (even though it was the highway). The breakfast was AMAZING, hot and fresh. Access to 24-hour fitness made me feel like management of the hotel knew what they were doing and had good area business relationships.
