Clean. Location. A mix up with our reservation: we'd booked 2 rooms, but they only had one reserved. They do overbook and hotel was full. I produced my Bookings.com paper-work and it was sorted. A bit unnerving tho' - glad we arrived at 4 p.m. and not at 11 p.m. The receptionist (Maria) was excellent. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The usual large chains were booked so I stayed here by myself and was pleasantly surprised. This is a small boutique hotel, so if you need a cozy but clean place to stay in a great location, I would recommend this place. The staff was extremely helpful. They allowed to check-in early.
Googled if couldn't answer my questions right away and then gave the best suitable solutions.
The location is ideal. Easy to access from BART and close to everything. No armies of homeless people nearby.
The italian restaurant and daily complimentary glass of wine was made the whole impression much better.

For the price it had everything I expected and more. While small the spa area and exercise area were superior and the staff GREAT. I just wish it opened earlier than 9 am. The staff was very good as was the business center ( small but adequate). I would stay t here again and would recommend it to others.

Staff were very friendly... what people say » and most helpful. The room was comfortable, the decor was interesting and bonuses for me were free internet and plenty of electrical outlets. It was in a perfect location for conference at a Union Square hotel as well as shopping and entertainment. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved it.

When we arrived, they were unloading brand new mattresses for all the rooms...Nice! It's a newly renovated hotel going for the "boutique" category. I'd say they were a success with that effort. Gorgeous. The bedroom was lovely and the bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. Amenities in the bathroom were very nice quality as well
Carpet needs cleaning or needs to be replaced.

I had to step up the itinerary of my trip by two days. Although I
didn't get the same room class/price, the day manager worked
with me over the phone to get a room booked. When I arrived, the (same?)
manager noted that we had one small child, and changed the room to

We were very pleased with our selection of hotel. When we arrived we had been upgraded from a Queen room to a Suite so were delighted. Having 2 bathrooms was a definite bonus.
