  This hotel is "top drawer" all the way! - The hotel was quite grand, and very luxerious in the common areas. The location worked well for us, as we seemed to be no more than a 10 minute cab ride from just about every where we went. The view from our Tower room was the clincher. We had a beautiful bay view.

  The staff were so friendly and welcoming and all, especially the concierge Ray, went out of their way to help. We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated the insider tips on using a Munipass or finding a good place to eat. The hotel was great for a peaceful night's sleep without traffic noise and within walking distance of Crissy Fields and sunse... what people say » t at the Golden Gate Bridge. Excellent public transport to Fisherman's Wharf or city centre. It was also great value for money. - The staff were excellent: friendly and helpful and were able to give us great tips. The cookies were a huge hit with the children and the access to hot tea ( something not so common in USA) was wonderful! The hotel was quiet and although the eating area for breakfast is small, there was never a problem finding somewhere to sit and eat. Having parking was also excellent.
