A beautiful art deco hotel which is quiet, understated and a blissful place to which tourists can return after a day of walking the hills of San Francisco. The staff were consistently helpful and polite. The Spa area and pool were a delight to use. Altogether a great experience.

Excellent location, cable car stop right outside, staff very courteous and friendly. Rooms large and clean, also free internet use in the hotels' business centre plus use of the spa included in the price. Would recommend.

The Huntington Hotel is a historic gem! A grand dame of elegance and impeccable service all offered in San Francisco's best location.

Location was fabulous with easy access to downtown if needed with cable car outside the door- Room was wonderful, very spacious and beautifully decorated with amazing views of the city - Deluxe room on 10th floor - 2 beds - All of the staff were very friendly and helpful although we did not avail of the concierge or spa services. - offered complimentary coffee or tea to room after check in -

It is very quiet in comparison to hotels near to Union Square. There is almost no city noise.

Service was impeccable. The spa was one of the best that I have ever encountered at a hotel. Rooms were very comfortable and clean; I was a little nervous upon arriving and seeing how old the place is, but it became very clear that they are constantly upgrading (brand new Kohler bathroom fixtures) - nothing is too old or outdated. And the location is great.

I have stayed at the Huntington in the past and found it as luxurious as ever. For me it is the Spa that makes this hotel irresistible - particularly the picturesque indoor pool. Getting such a great rate only made my stay there sweeter.

The staff were exceptional, attention to details superb. The rooms were beautifully appointed. The location of the hotel to the theater district and Union Square is very convenient. I will definitely stay there again.

The stay was excellent - it was great to know that after a hard day of tourist activities - we could head back to a lovely spa to relax and it was very reassuring to know that the bed was such a comfortable sleep. Loved our room and the service - we loved the whole experience of staying at the Huntington - would recommend it to our friends.

The only aspect of living in Nob Hill is the hills we had to climb to get back but we got around that by catching taxis for $6 and mutli-rider tickets for cable cars.

The location was fantastic and the room was very large with a comfortable bed and great view. The indoor pool and spa were also a highlight.

It was so close to everything we wanted to do and yet when we went into the hotel it felt like we were miles away from the city. It was a perfect get away for my husband and myself after the crazy holidays.

Our booking was confused (somewhere LetsBookHotel.com sent the hotel the details and the hotel mis-read them for an inferior room) and we spent the first night in an inferior room. The hotel manager was wonderful, he made the remaining two nights a real treat for us - in a fantastic suite overlooking the park.

no ashtrays outside hotel on walkway. Funny that they exclude smokers from inside but make no provision for the disposal of ash or cigarette ends!

It was centrally located for the activities we were interested in.

No in room coffee, no ice machines for our use, had to call room service for anything and there was always a cost. Cost! Cost! Cost!
