Lovely cozy and welcoming hotel with modern clean rooms and nice bathrooms. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Free bike hire was a great way to see the city. Free tea and coffee everyday in the lobby.

Gym was very small-although better than nothing of course! Close to the tenderloin area which we understand to be not so desireable although we didn't experience any problems. Room was small but most SF/NY hotel rooms are.

This hotel is perfect, the location is great and the staff are so friendly. Very comfortable hotel and will go back. Lobby looks amazing with the Christmas trees too

With weddings on the weekend, lots of opening and closing doors-a bit too loud… Restaurant should open earlier for breakfast and have more choice…healthier options (great bagels and granola)

Good location. The rooms are nice, but a little on the small side. The foyer with the open fire and the adjoining bar /restaurant are a gorgeous design. Free wine hour was also a treat.

The only annoyances are, no free WiFi – surely no one should still be charging for WiFi! And the parking is expensive in SF. The hotel offer concierge parking which is really pricey ~$50 a day. But you can find parking yourself for ~$24 a day.

The location is excellent. East of the hotel is Union Square and excellent places to shop - Tiffany & Co., Direct Shoe Warehouse and Westfield. Great Japanese food and local diner food on Geary too.

The pillows in this hotel were the worst that I had in 4 weeks of travelling. The massage I had in the spa downstairs was terrible, and the spa facilities weren't very good.

The hotel is stylish, and the rooms very fresh and well done. They offer a wine happy hour in the afternoons and coffee in the morning in their living room. It made for a very enjoyable stay.

This area in San Francisco is pretty seedy and run down. ALthough it has plenty of nice buildings and good hotels.

It was nice hotel close to union square.

The checkout process. We along with our son and his wife. When we checked they had the rooms and names and addresses mixed up. It over 20 minutes to check out and they still had things messed up.

Location!! It is close to shopping and great restaurants.

I was close to a room with a dog and loud music playing. As this was a business trip, I would have liked a quieter room.

The King Suite was tough even with 2 kids. The pull out sofa is just not a good experience for 7 nights for our boys.

Staff were very friendly and most helpful. The room was comfortable, the decor was interesting and bonuses for me were free internet and plenty of electrical outlets. It was in a perfect location for conference at a Union Square hotel as well as shopping and entertainment. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved it.

The staff was amazing. Very friendly, curtious and even helped tell me with which train I needed to take on the bart to get to the airport. The hotel was neat and clean which is important to me and was very visually appealing which is always nice and helps make me want to visit again.

The hot tub closed at 9pm so I never got a chance to use it. I wish it stayed open a few hours later. Also, the hotel offers wifi but you have to pay for it unless you're a member of their club. I feel like if I'm goining to pay $1000 for 4 nights I should get it complimentary.

Newly remodeled rooms and corridors were fresh and lovely. Staff was always helpful and connected.

The lobby design needs an update, which I'm sure is coming. Bathrooms could use a dimmer switch or a nightlight for middle of the night use without flipping on bright bath lighting.

I'm a designer so really appreciated the funky decoration. The staff were very helpful, as well. Location was great. Would go back to this hotel.

That they had a complimentary wine hour. Also, we were there for a bachelorette party and the front desk sent up a bottle of wine in celebration which was a nice touch.

We did get a spa treatment which was awesome but when I was trying to split the bill the lady could not figure out what I wanted to do which resulted in my having to charge the room. Then when I got the final bill the spa treatment had not even be added. I thought it was very unprofessional.

For the price it had everything I expected and more. While small the spa area and exercise area were superior and the staff GREAT. I just wish it opened earlier than 9 am. The staff was very good as was the business center ( small but adequate). I would stay t here again and would recommend it to others. Rick Brown
