The staff was friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately my trip was cut short due to the fact that the inn closed down after 5 days into my 11 day stay. The other facility that was found for me to complete my stay wasn't to my liking. So I decided to end my trip early.

-clean -simple but good breakfast included -free internet

-screen missing from window so couldn't keep it open to cool off the room at night -fair amount of noise from the street

Walking to union square and close to everything SF has to offer. Its an older building, but the price was great.....

Staff and room was great. Big room big bed. Very friendly and helpful. Clean shower and comfy bed.

I have never seen so many people smoking crack in the street. Didn't bother us or anything but the area is a little shady. Not for families with children

The room was very clean. The staff was pleasant and responsive. The location, especially for the price, is quite good.

The breakfast leaves a bit to be desired, and the building itself could use a bit of sprucing up.

I had in my room all I need: hairdryer, coffemaker, small fridge, bath. All staff were very nice and so kind. It is in Union Square and there are a lot of interesting places in the area.

There is a street nearby where there are a lot of homeless people, and It is very disgusting.

The room was clean and well equiped. Hotel is near to the financial district so the trams, buses were reachable easily. The price contains breakfast.

The breakfast contains just bread and jam each day.

In this hotel ,the service of the staff was very good and polite ,helpful.For the price and it's very close downtown,I qualify this hotel simple but with everything you need when you travel.

Bed was terrible. It was to be a King bed but was really 2 twin beds combined into a King bedframe.

The poeple were nice . helpfull and very informative. Travis at the front counter was the best The rooms are very small, but clean.

The location is bad. The homeless, the drug use and the noise would defineltly not make me go back

Budget price and convenient location ( near union square).

There are a lot of homeless people around the place. So, I felt unsafe coming back to the hostel at night. Definitely, would not recommend for solo traveler especially woman.

Location. Takes 5 min from union sq. everything is very close. Room has a lovely kitchen.

Homeless people are too many around the hotel. Even at the next street there are not that many. I killed 2 huge cockroaches in my room. Was disgusting I had to throw away all my food. King bed is 2 beds together-genius !)

The staff, including the manager, made the stay tolerable.

Everything but the staff and manager, I.E. the dirt, the rat, the location (which is not two blocks from union square btw), the parking, the decor, the breakfast, the television (no cable), etc., all of which was sadly unnecessary. This is the first and last time I will stay at any America's Best Value hotels.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

The room as very noisy, had a broken wall (fixed the next day), the bathroom leaked from upstairs, the cleaning was not done everyday.

The location of the hotel is unfortunately not in a safe neighborhood, with people of questionable character loitering right outside the hotel. This alone caused me to walk to the counter and cancel my reservation and hence pay a penalty of a night's stay, and then drive to a safer hotel in Berkeley.
