  This was by far the best hotel we have found in San Diego. Luxury for a very reasonable price! Impressive from the moment you see it from a distance, impressive parking, impressive, AMAZING lobby, amazing guest service, amazing everything. The room we chose was a corner King suite... Everything was perfectly clean and fresh in the bathroom. Downstairs, we chose to eat at t - Everything! I was blown away with the beauty of the lobby! The staff was wonderful, our room was fantastic, (corner king), the food was good (pulled pork was best I've had in ages!), and the views were gorgeous. I loved how close it was to so many areas of SD. The pool area (with the firepits at night!) looked wonderful, but it was so windy so we didn't stay. I also loved the old pictures throughout the hotel. If you are from SD it was particularly super to see them.

  The front desk help was excellent. I also loved the cleanliness of the room and the view was simply gorgeous. When I told the front desk that my wife was having surgery the next day at Scrips Hospital she changed our third floor room to ground floor very near the entrance, very nice. Driveway, lobby, room and bathroom are all very spacious. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Our room was available upon arrival at around half past 11 in the morning and we appreciated this very much. The hotel has taken steps to be eco-friendly which is admirable.
