  This hotel was fantastic, a true gem. The staff go beyond the call of duty and take pride in remembering all their visitors. The price was a screaming deal, the location is ideal - rental car recommended but everything is close by. Our room was on the upper level so we did not hear the pool. The air conditioning worked great, - I liked that it was walking distance to the historic old town. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast included waffles, boiled eggs, variety of cereals, hot cooked oatmeal (not the packaged stuff), fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries and toast. The rooms come with DVD players and they offer a wide selection of movies free of charge. There is also local transit (bus) station very close to the hotel.

  I'd like to endorse what other travellers have said about this hotel, the staff are great, the rooms are nice and the cookies are fabulous. But for us the best thing about cci is its location pretty much in the middle of Orange. Come out of the hotel and turn right and you go toward the Hotel Del and lots of shops and places to eat (can recommend ... what people say » the seared Tuna at Tent City and the crab stuffed giant prawns at Brigantine). Turn left and you end up at the ferry landing, again with shops and eat - We loved that they were pet friendly, but didn't charge a huge fee like most places do. They gave us a pet gift bag with treats and poop pickup bags for our dog along with a list of pet friendly places to eat in walking distance and doggy day camps in the area. We will DEFINITELY be coming back and recommending this hotel to our friends that have pets. Also we loved the gorgeous bathroom and shower!

  Love that this is not just a "pets accepted" hotel. They genuinely enjoy and are friendly to the animals and the owners. My dogs loved having a vacation with Mom and Dad. They were given treats and had plenty of room to enjoy the grounds with the other dogs on property that weekend. I recommend this to all the dog parents I know. We didn't have a dog, but the hotel was very dog friendly with dog washing facilities at end of building. I also liked the fact that we had a big refrigerator & microwave. Fairly quite but a few kids seemed to be having a good time. Beds were comfortable and the bath seemed recently remodeled (even granite counter top) with a huge shower where, I suspect, the tub use to be, which was fine for us. We will no doubt return one day, especially since, for the location, the price was pretty reasonable.

While it was a 10-min drive to ocean beach, it was within walking distance of the marina "boardwalk" type area and shelter island. We also didn't experience any loading/delivery noises for the restaurant next door. - How small and accessible it is...didn't have to lug suitcases down long hallways .
