  I'd like to endorse what other travellers have said about this hotel, the staff are great, the rooms are nice and the cookies are fabulous. But for us the best thing about cci is its location pretty much in the middle of Orange. Come out of the hotel and turn right and you go toward the Hotel Del and lots of shops and places to eat (can recommend ... what people say » the seared Tuna at Tent City and the crab stuffed giant prawns at Brigantine). Turn left and you end up at the ferry landing, again with shops and eat - We loved that they were pet friendly, but didn't charge a huge fee like most places do. They gave us a pet gift bag with treats and poop pickup bags for our dog along with a list of pet friendly places to eat in walking distance and doggy day camps in the area. We will DEFINITELY be coming back and recommending this hotel to our friends that have pets. Also we loved the gorgeous bathroom and shower!

  i don't understand some of these people with their negative reviews! you get what you pay for people if you want 5 star then fork it out!! with that said! I loved this hotel the staff was amazing and the breakfast was great had waffles and coffee the whole weekend. location was walking distance from many resturants and bars and the tram is right t... what people say » here! sea world is an easy 5 min drive. and mission beach was an easy 7 min drive! this location was just fantastic. the room had a fridge which most - Very good value for the money, with simple breakfast provided (including waffles!). No elevator to second floor and no whirlpool at the small swimming pool. Just across the street from historic Old Town with shopping, restaurants and museums. Nice 20 minute walk or jog up Presidio Hill, also basketball court, are across the street also.

  I absolutely loved this place. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. The house is awesome and very clean. Great common room/tv room, free wifi throughout, two ipads in the lobby for free use as well; kitchen is nice too. Loved little touches like an outlet and shelf in every bunk. I think it took me like 15 minutes to walk - This hostel is absolutely amazing, and by far the best I've ever visited. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with helpful staff. It's located in Little Italy, which is a brief 15 minute walk from downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter. It's clean and has a very home feeling to it. Every day the hostel offers activities, both daytime and evening. Breakfast and dinner is complimentary. I was very comfortable here, and sad to leave when my stay was over. Will definitely stay here next time I visit

  The room was not at all what I expected. It contained comfortable and newer items such as TV, lamps, extra "make up mirror", etc. The bed was by far one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. And super bonus: There was no disgusting faux quilt that all hotels have that just make your skin crawl. It had a plush, white, comforter with du... what people say » vet cover. This room was not what I had expected at all. - I like the renovated rooms and the fair pricing when its less than $40. The free wifi is a nice and pretty fast. The laundry facility is a nice option, but the price deterred usage. The staff is fairly nice.

  When we was in the process of booking our travel plans I founded it pretty hard to make a decision based on all the different reviews,ok so I vowed to give my honest experience to help other ppl,thats traveling on a budget and looking for the best deal.....and this was by best,the best decision we made...before I give my experience, my total price... what people say » we paid for 2 airfare(spirit) and 3 nite hotel stay came to $615 which left alot of shopping and food money(lunch,dinner),limo from/to our home,....o - This is one of the best place's I have ever stayed at. The people were very friendly and nice, the breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were clean, with microwave, refrig, and coffee pot in every room. This will be the place I will be staying from now on, as I have to come to San Diego, at least every 5 weeks.
