The size of this resort hotel was much larger than I expected with a lot of nice amenities (restaurants, etc.) on grounds that we did not use (but would in the future). And so beautiful! We lived in a room with to large queen size. It was very spacious and a bit old fashioned. But in a good way. It was close to a big mall, which we really approved. We didn't have breakfast included, but there is a nice café in the area (the hotel is in a very big area and has a lot of rooms all over the place) that had good sandwiches and Starbuck coffee.

Fairly quite but a few kids seemed to be having a good time. Beds were comfortable and the bath seemed recently remodeled (even granite counter top) with a huge shower where, I suspect, the tub use to be, which was fine for us. There was always a cab there if it was needed. Complimentary shuttle is also available at all times. - I liked the fact that it was a city-feeling hotel, old school with modern touches. The hotel was on the hilly part of downtown San Diego, overlooking the City itself with a distant view of the Harbor; along with a walkway extending outward with table and chairs for outside sitting to catch the incredible breeze. I liked the personal touch of a "sail boat" greeting card, which everyone signed, placed in the hotel room.
