  From the moment Anthony checked me in at the front desk I was surprised and pleased by the premises. There is 24 hour manned parking lot security and desk personnel available around the clock. My room and the bathroom was immaculate with far better quality than I would expect at the price. It was clean and you had everything you needed. All new linens every day and well maintained. Security on site in the evenings was a plus.   From the front desk staff to the cleaning crew, all the staff was extremely friendly and willing to help in any way. We especially enjoyed the people who helped with the complimentary breakfast.   The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very spacious and clean. Having the small kitchenette was helpful as I have a very restrictive diet although the term "fully stocked" kitchen was a bit of an over statement. There were no pots or pans to cook with and no plates to earn on.   We had a wonderful time staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Diego recently from March 11 to 14. The facilities were excellent. Our bedroom was nice and the bed was comfortable, and coffee making was provided. The pool and hot tub facilities were clean and comfortable, especially the large hot tub which can take 14. They have a ‘happy hour’ service with reduced drink prices between 5 and 7; and the food was excellent and freshly cooked, with nice hot veg - Location was excellent!. Room was clean. We opted not to get room clean on second day stay and got $5 coupon to use at one of their restaurants. Service was great. We requested clean towels on second day and were brought up quickly. If you need something for room, just call and ask. Friendly staff. Got $5 coupons for each member (5) towards San Diego zoo. Could get noisy due to it being family friendly but that is expected. Close to restaurants.

  We were only there 2 days waiting for cruise ship but enjoyed the location. The staff were friendly and helpful. It took us a while to work out the bus system but once we did it was good. Could I suggest that when giving directions to foreigners that you tell us which way is North. Coming from down under it is not always evident.
