From the moment Anthony checked me in at the front desk I was surprised and pleased by the premises. There is 24 hour manned parking lot security and desk personnel available around the clock. My room and the bathroom was immaculate with far better quality than I would expect at the price. My bed was comfortable, and the location is completely convenient and accessible from the I-10 freeway.
all reviews » For the money, this was an excellent choice for a budget. It was clean and you had everything you needed. All new linens every day and well maintained. Security on site in the evenings was a plus. The outdoor pool and hottub were also well maintained and a nice ammenity for the stay. I've stayed at hotels for triple the cost that were less well kept and less comfortable. The staff was very friendly, with security onsite, myself and grandson felt very comfortable and safe. The pool and spa were great, and located in the back of the hotel, very quiet and private...right next to a wildlife preserve. Had a laundry, microwave. Not a ritzy place, but awesome for us. Thank you Jesus for your smile!!. Very good value for price. Obvious security measures taken (parking lot checked by security for illicit activities. Very quiet. No hassles from anyone. Clean room, comfortable bed, plenty of lighting, two desks, comfortable seating, efficient front desk, nice room decor. Hot shower. Plenty of tv channels. The staff were very chummy! One even laughed when I reacted to the good news on the Internet, which is available for 20 minutes on the little old computer in the lobby. The bed is quite soft and the room very spotless, too. And the view from the balcony is quite stunning especially at night. The location is great about a mile away from Sea World. There is security officers watching over the hotel and the parking area, which is great, gives peace of mind that you'll actually have a car parking space and your car is secure. The room was clean and very budget friendly. Lazelle at the front desk was super. She arranged for us to stay another night at the same rate, she told us where and where not to go. Housekeeping was very good as well. The hot tub and pool got a lot of use. Just off freeway but did not hear the noise. Premere is located at the start of the Ocean Beach Bike Trail, direct to OB, MB, PB, Seaworld, Mission Bay... If you like to ride, bring your bike. The OB trail goes along side a nature reserve, bird sanctuary, San Diego River... Although small, Premiere Inn did provide a very comfort feel once entering the rooms. The bed were comfortable and well made and the staff were helpful and kept privacy to us. I highly recommend the premiere Inn to any traveler!. Staff was really friendly! Room was descent slept very sound. I always look around my room before I get settled. Their were no major problems with the room. It was easy to get to many attractions. bathroom VERY "new" looking (clean); felt very "secure"; small fridge worked great. Very close to San Diego Old Town and San Diego trolley, making it very easy to access the city and especially all of the many and nice facilities of Old Town San Diego. Even can park your car near Old Town at a nominal fee and go to the Mexican border and visit Tijuana by trolley (don't forget to take your passport, though!). Although nothing fancy, it was well worth what we paid. Clean room, standard bathroom. We had no neighbors on either side, so for us it was quiet. If you're not traveling with kids, I definitely recommend you ask for a room away from families, as there seemed to be many. You'd prefer to be on the back side of the hotel, as the front has a bit more freeway noise. No hair dryer or clock. You have to pay for wi-Fi. We definitely would have used wi-fi if it was free. A paper guide to the tv channels would be a nice addition. Cable company would probably supply you this for free. The motel is a bit out of the way even for bus (you could use route 88 while it's still light, though.) The rug on the outside balcony is a bit worn, the pool has seen its better days, and the toilet, while sparkling clean, had to be flushed a few times, but nothing serious. :) Oh, and maybe remove the mat from under the bed's sheet covering so you will be cooler in summer?. Nothing, everything was great. No microwave or contiental breakfast. The parking lot was dark at night. Place does need remodeling and updates. Needs new carpeting in the hallways. Did not dig checking in through the window because it was "after hours" that part made the hotel seem shady!. The air condition filters, could be checked more often. Both of our eyes became swollen, red and watery. Building needs updating, but room was clean and comfortable. I didn't like the pets... :( the carpets in the outside hall looked very dirty and like moisture was trapped in them. Seagulls making a mess every morning at the dumpsters... It was a little run down. only 1 elevator for entire premise. Being on top level of hotel, only one elevator at hotel at other end of where we were. There were very noisy rowdy guests that didn't take other guests into consideration. Some of the people staying there were a bit noisy at night but nothing major. I would definetly stay there again. shower pressure very low. The tv was old and had static and you could hear through the walls. We like cofee pot and ironing accommodations in the room. The rest is perfect. no microwave or coffee pot in the room, dirty carpet in room 303. Showers were terrible. toilet was broken, tv reception was below par and there was no tv guide, internet was super slow. Maybe more pillows?. not walking distance to shops or restrants. The bathroom needed SOME TYPE of vanity area to place items on. The pillows were hard. The coffee maker didn't work. You have to get out of bed to turn on a light (no lamps on nightstand). The carpets could use some cleaning. They were dirtier then most hotels. not enough pillows. smell of desodorant. The refrigerator was not working although I did not have to use it and because we were busy, I did not time to tell the front desk staff member. (Room 306). cheap, rough towels. No microwave. Other guests loud, a lot of kids running up and down the outside. TV was a bit dated. My room was a bit small (one queen size bed only) but ok for a single traveller. Found a bug in the room. There was only one elevator for the entire 4 story hotel? The wait was sometimes 4-5 minutes? There were no convenience stores close by, and getting to one was confusing?.
