Went on an interview at u of r and spent 2 nights at Twopath for like 136 usd. The room was spacious and had almost everything in it. The location is good, only like 10-15 minutes drive from the downtown area. Plus, there is a really decent Chinese restaurant a quarter mile away from the motel. The owners were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to be considerate as we were travelling with a baby. The best hotel owners in our travels. Having a microwave in the room was excellent.
all reviews » Staff was very friendly. We were in town for the color run and the towpath was the perfect location and budget friendly for what we needed. Will stay there again the next time we're in Rochester. Old hotel, but very clean and cozy. I LOVED the Keurig in the room, a nice touch. Friendly desk staff. Located near U of R. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient to where I needed to go. and they had Keurig coffee maker. It was clean, it had wi-fi, and the location put me 5 minutes from where I needed to be. Beds were comfy. 3' x 3 1/2' shower/tub was nice for showers! Odd for baths though. Very friendly staff; the room was very clean and had everything I needed. Welcoming atmosphere of staff------attractive neighborhood surroundings. Bed was very comfortable. Great location. Good Parking. Quiet. Good sized air conditioned room with king sized bed. Clean, considering it is an old hotel. Convenient. Very friendly staff and a wonderful room. I will be sure to bring my own next time. Not a great selection for breakfast. I mostly drank the coffee. It's an older motel. Room smelled of disinfectant. No milk for the cereal in the morning. No one made up our room and when asked in late afternoon they said the person had left for the day. Towels were stained and thread bare. Rubber bath mat in tub was old and mildewed. Really needed to be replaced! But was obviously not cleaned after each guest! Guest in room above us partied all night, loudly! Rooms are not sound proof at all. The weather! Obviously not their fault : ). Smoky smell in the room. I didn't like the shower. The water was cold ( the shower had a goof proof that did like to burn you) It should have turn up. bathroom and lighting outdated extension lead been exposed. Price.It's not worth.102.00 after tax.I stay at the marriott for that in Laredo TX. Smell in the front desk is not very welcoming Rooms are not too big for the average american size WC are small. Morning front desk staff was extremely rude. Looked at me as if I were a criminal when I was getting a bit of the continental breakfast. When I checked out he acted like I had committed a crime because I left the room keys on the night stand as opposed to turning them in which is the policy at most motels I stay at while on the road (on the road constantly). Noise and older motel. Room had not been clean when we checked into it. While this was addressed, it was not the kind of welcome you want. Sink didn't drain well, floor was filthy, room wasn't ready when I got there, an hour after check-in time as they were fixing a vent, which left junk all over the floor, could hear tv's in surrounding rooms. Very noisy --patrons upstairs- just their walking sounded like a herd of elephants I felt like I was asking for million dollars when I requested some extra towels. I do not want to hear excuses. the bed bugs. The desk clerk was extremely rude. I definitely would nbot recomend that motel. It was like a haunted house. In the whole hotel, I was the only guest. The stuff was extremely rude. Barely no breakfast. Dirty Management was rude and completely unhelpful Room was covered in dirt and had dead bugs smeared on the ceiling. Complained to the owner of the hotel and he did nothing. Was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
